EQMac is proof that sometimes it's okay to get stuck in Time.

Maybe you should host SOE well -- the entire site and EQ/EQ2 have been borked all morning. I quote:

Latest from dev (Chr0nos79) on chat: Our internet connections were dead this morning for the whole company, as well as our phone network. Things are slowly coming up. We've got phones, our internal network, and external sites working. However the servers are still down for now. Don't really have an ETA on when it will be back up, since we aren't sure what happened.

I do? That's funny, because I recall cancelling my account after being jerked around a long time ago.

Now that this has settled down, how was it done in the first place? 3rd party program? Or clever game mechanics ect?

Collective you...

Because people keep paying them.

Company fucks up, people pay them: clearly not a high priority fix huh?

I understood it was a collective "you." I was attempting to make the point that I was not part of that "you", as well as subtly advocating not taking this kind of crap from companies.

just wait for saturation, once the industry is fighting for customers we will have a+ super customer relationship suddenly and suddenly the content will flow in and suddenly out of nowhere the genre will start making leaps and revoutions in gameplay. Cant wait for these asshole devs who ignore some bugs for 3 years while ignoring feedback while only going for the safest route while being total cheapasses to the players in pretty much every possible way to get under some serious pressure. May be something good comes out of it. Yes i am optimist.

edit, at least thats the case for most games like WoW
