| PVP wise.. which WoW class now has the upper hand? i know this has been discussed in just about every post the past year.. but after the new expansion which class is going to have the upper hand in pvp? im hearing Warlocks and Priests are quite nasty nowadays.. and since im just getting back into WoW..after 6 months .. im curious to the notion... who has the upper hand in 1 on 1 fights, now, and after the expansion? Warrior? Shaman? Priest? Druid? Warlock? Hunter? Rogue? Mage? Paladin? if anyone could elaborate something about each class, would be much appreciated. |

| it's pretty arbitrary...but.. Generally speaking the mass populous decrees that Overpowered: Priest Hunter Warlock Balanced: Mage Druid Rogue Paladin Underpowered: Shaman (everything but resto) Warrior (Rage nerf) As I said, it's all arbitrary and a new flavor of the month could pop up at any time. But right now I'd say that hunters and warlocks are the current leaders of those who bitch about them.

| Since you mentioned 1v1 Warlock Shadow Priest Paladin Hunter Mage Shaman Rogue Warrior TBH I don't know where druids scale, don't duel enough of them. But tangetial, Immy your right warriors are weak in 1v1 but rage normilization isn't the problem. We lack counters for abilites in pvp situations, especially against classes that can kite or dot. |

+166 Internets | Paladins can be shut down pretty easily if you're not retarded. He's talking 1v1, not force multiplier factor. In group pvp? Yeah, Paladins win but they're ezmoad in 1v1. I'd modify that slightly though to make a distinction. Shadow Priests are wicked overpowered, Holy/Disc or Disc/Holy are fine though. |

| I'm very pleased with Mangle, it's quite a damage upgrade and I'm not having problems with very high hp warlocks and high +damage mages any longer. Druid vs Druid fights no longer take forever. My character feels stronger so I'm happy as a clam. |

| i understand priest/warlocks are pretty much on top of the game atm, 1v1 wise... where do Shamans stand in this department? before the WF nerf shamans were pretty much on top of the game, but now... iv noticed there power has dropped off to some degree... with the new expansion do shamans even stand a chance anymore 1v1? does dual wield now make any difference, or are we still bottom feeders regardess if we have dual wield or not. any shamans in beta, or anyone informative on the subject elaborate if ya could) thanks! |

+166 Internets | Shaman are more middle of the pack honestly. They're not terrible and you still shouldn't ever lose to a rogue or warrior. Fighting a mage would depend largely on how the mage is spec'd. Druids should be relatively easy. Warriors aren't too bad. It's just that they've been walking gods for so long that now that they're back down to Earth with the rest of us they're learning the hard way what it's like to not be able to win 90% of matches. Warlocks, shadow priests and hunters are all pretty and everybody is pretty even. Between the two groups however is a pretty huge gap. |

+166 Internets | All I know is that after nearly a year and a half of being holy/disc spec'd, it feels good to just melt some fucking faces again. It won't last long before circumstances dictate I go back to holy...but fuck man. And being able to school warlocks still = $$. |

| I've never dueled once in my entire Warlock-y life, but I specced Felguard and went to Elwynn to mess around, post-patch. This is my brand-new-60 alt, with about half green and half Scholo-esque gear. I've never PVP'd with him. And I was a monster. I could not be beaten. I destroyed Rogues, Paladins... Affliction Warlocks, Mages. These were not experienced and dedicated duelists, of course, but most were well-geared and certainly knew their class. I was only beaten when I got stunlocked by the Rogue, and once with a Paladin because I decided not to use Fear and he had DS ready. Still drained his entire mana bar to beat me. At the conclusion I realized that I didn't have Soullink up the entire time. So yeah, 3 second stun + fear = wowzors. ![]() |

+1 Internets | Still doesnt change the fact that your quote is a load of shit. 1v1 warriors are probs the worst PvP class, we get a lot better when we have a pocket healer, but then that isnt 1v1 is it?
