I Beta'd that game for approximately 10 minutes. It's downright awful. Everything is just bad about it. Thats why it's free. I payed for one month of RFO just for shits and giggles. That will be the last dollar I spend on a codemaster MMO.

What the fuck is wrong with your brain? Don't backseat moderate dipshit. If threads like http://www.fohguild.org/forums/mmorp...te-online.html aren't rickshawed then there's no reason to rickshaw this one. I don't personally give a fuck about the game but someone might, which is why I posted it.

Well thats all fine and dandy, are the graphics, controls, UI, combat, spells, item iztion, skills, server quality any better? Not to mention movement and pathing. Ugh. Awful. I don't remember can you jump in the game? I hate when I can't jump down a 1 foot hill to keep going straight, but have to walk around it.

I bet it still follows the traditional Korean MMO model where the grind is insane and if you actually want to level you have to buy in game exp mod items from their store. I guess it makes it easy to come back and play a bit as you please. I don't care for any of the junk Codemasters puts out though. There are free to download/play MMOs that are just as good or better than Archlord if you are looking for something different.

I found it moderately entertaining during beta. It's a very simplistic game and the leveling pace wasn't bad at all. Having said that I definitely wouldn't pay full retail to play, even without the monthly fee but I may try the free trial and see if the changes they made are good enough for a gaming session here and there when I'm really bored.
