[WoW] New beta changes.

WoW Forums -> SERVERS UP: Undocumented Patch Changes

Changed the look of many items.
Changed the name of many items.
Changed the icon for many items.
Lots of other random item changes. Double check your inventory.

The 'free' Sha'tar ring now requires Exalted to equip

Druids


Mangle fixed.
Pounce nerfed to 5yard range


Hunters


You can now rez your pet again.
Talent Change: Beast Within now reduces mana cost of spells by 20%
Flare is now very bright


Mages


New rank of water.
Invis fade time down to 5 seconds.



Rogues


- Improved Backstab moved to tier 2 Assassination.
- Improved Slice and Dice moved to tier 2 Combat.
- Surprise Attacks changed to "Your finishing moves can no longer be dodged, and the damage dealt by your Backstab, Gouge, Shiv, and Sinister Strike abilities is increased by 8%".
- Improved Sap and Elusiveness have swapped tiers.
- Improved Sap now 2 ranks, 50%/100%.
- Preparation changed to "When activated, this ability instantly refreshes the cooldown on your Evasion, Sprint, Vanish, Cold Blood, Adrenaline Rush, and Premeditation abilities." Goodbye double Cloak of Shadows/Blind in arenas.
- Cloak of Shadows is now 1 minute cooldown instead of 2.
- Evasion ranged attack avoidance reduced from 50% to 25%.
- Blind changed to 3 minute cooldown from 5 minutes(is this new? never noticed it before).
- Wound Poison(all ranks) has been changed. Now has a 30% chance to instantly deal damage(increases with poison rank), and reduce healing effects used on target by 10% for 15 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times.



Warlocks


Talent Change: Soul Link now at 20% and +5% damage
Talent Change: Shadowfury now a 20 second cooldown
Curse of Weakness now lowers attack power by 272.


Warriors


Rampage NOT Fixed I hate the person that told me it was
1. Holy shit, I never thought they'd overpower Rogues to the point where Paladins couldn't beat them. Without Divine Shield you have no chance, with Divine Shield your chances still aren't good. These changes are just obscene. GG having EVERY HoJ ignored. Not only does it mean that you'll be doing a third of their damage or less, (and if they pop Evasion, you might as well be doing zero) but non-Dwarf Paladins can't heal against a Rogue without Repentance or Divine Shield, and the Repentance heal won't help much at -50% healing, which you can't cleanse because it reapplies every two seconds.

I'm sure Alliance Warlocks LOVE the fact that 80% of Horde Rogues get three fear breaks now, meaning you can't even cast spells against one.

2. Beast Within was a great change, ANYONE could see that was ridiculous.

Why all the rogue changes ? Is all this to address the "were not #1 dps on raids anymore" concerns ?

Kind of lost here.

TBW change doesn't make sense... ooh, I'm raging... I am calling the beast within... he'll make me mana efficient... wha?

I read through 15 pages of that 23 page thread about how Warriors are done in PvP. I can't believe people are still pulling up the Pat video as evidence that we've needed this nerf for a long time. Carlos Mencia has it right... dee dee dee....

Uhh, yeah the TBW change is freaking ridiculous, if anything they should have added it to the already existing effects.
But where's the paladin love ? =/

I just read the Hunter boards, and that's exactly what they did. I thought that was a replacement, this is just retarded. 18 seconds of +20% damage AND immunity to all negative effects? AND you can activate it WHILE CCed since it's a pet command? What exactly are non-plate classes supposed to do about this crap? This did not need a buff.

They nerfed it from +30% damage to +10% damage, and added +20% less mana cost.

Lets just say as any caster you're absoutely dreading the month from this patch until the expansion. Adding power without adding HP is going to be fucking nasty. Lowering soullink from 30% to 20% is only going to make it worse!

I'm looking forward to hunters wtfpwning me in 5 seconds due to their massive DPS increase while my HP (due to soul link) is going to get worse. O my.

Having a 60 Paladin (main) and 60 Rogue (alt), I was thinking about forgetting PvP for my Rogue post expansion. Less crit as you level up and way more HP for everyone? Long fights for a Rogue are never a good thing, and with forced longer fights in the expansion..Rogues needed a buff.

People need to realize these changes are FOR THE EXPANSION with level 70 in mind.

In short, stop whining.

i was of the understanding that DW shaman were doing quite well, as are resto, and it's elemental which lags behind currently.

In PvP? DW shaman have nothing going for them really.

DW shaman are doing good in PvE small groups i believe.

pve a dw shaman is very very good
pve a restore spec shaman is extremely good now

i don't do pvp, so i don't care.
