Apparently, new patch will be in next week. Guess I need to re-sub and get the few patches that I've missed DLed soon

The next World of Warcraft content update, “Before the Storm,” will include the new PvP Honor System, as well as other new features that will prepare us for The Burning Crusade expansion. We are currently planning to release this content update next Tuesday, December 5. Please note that the patch date is still subject to change, and we will keep you informed of any changes to the plan as they happen.

If the patch goes live as planned, this will be the last week that new PvP ranks under the old Honor System can be earned, as the patch will immediately introduce the new Honor System. We will run one final honor calculation on December 5 and update everyone’s ranking accordingly on that date so that players who achieve a new rank for that week have the opportunity to display that title on their character. Please note, however, that no new PvP rewards will be unlocked for purchase with this final “old Honor System” calculation, regardless of any increase in rank.

For those who have been seeking high-rank PvP armor and weapons, note that the new Honor System will still include these item rewards, and it will actually be easier to earn these items under the new Honor System than under the old Honor System. Those who wish to see how their PvP abilities measure up against other players will still be able to do so under the new Arena System.

I haven't played WoW in months, but I'll probably check out the expansion.

It would have been cool if they put in horde paladins / alliance shaman this patch so people could start leveling them up...that might have got me playing again.

Or are those classes specific to the new races? Obvious answer from anyone who actually plays WoW I'd imagine.

I know they wouldn't put in new races this game, but if orcs can be paladins, or Night Elves(?) can be shamans, that would have been fun.

Only draenei can be shamans on alliance and only bloood elves can be paladins on horde.

Did they say they were re-balancing fights like noth/sapph etc to compensate?

Enjoy decursive while you can because it's gone for good in a few days. I tried a Luci fight last week without decursive. Made for an interesting fight because I didn't have any macros set up. It was fun.

Noth and Sapph are going to be a lot fucking harder without decursive.

I thought they said they WERE rebalancing fights that were decurisve based (chromag) for instance.

playing as blood elf/draenei is unfortunatly expansion content only so no pre-leveling of horde palas and alliance shamans
however, the new draenei and blood elf quest givers in lowbie zones (like ashenvale etc) will be in, giving you their faction for completing quests

I've never used Decursive and done just fine. Same with Mana Conserve and Click-Cast. That shit has always been fucking homo.

Decursive, and most of the 'bot' mods such as Bigwigs and LaVendetta, as well as some of the functionality of C'thun warner, and CTRA are all broke.

Most of the UI mods are also broke.

Anyways, anyone who claims that healers need to 'L2P' without the functionality of a Decursive assistant should try healing for two years on the bleeding edge of content.
Most alt's and non-raiding hybrid players fail at basic Molten Core trash, so I find it laughable a dps casual rogue or hunter claiming that watching a 40 cell array for a little 'blip' while maintaining your heals per min. ratio is a fun raid activity. For most of WoW, the job of healers has been to heal. Now it's back to wack a mole gaming, which really means now healing concentration is now split back between 'cleanse' duty and healing your asses.

That's also discounting the slack ass mage who last looked at his 'cure curse' spell maybe January 2006 that will now wipe your Spider wing trash pulls, all the while spamming his fireball button on the wrong assist target. Most likley, he'll be bitching about the lack of a functional raid timer since he can't keep a beat on Heigan.

What kind of player are you? I don't think I care much for your opinion if the extent of your efforts is curing diseases in UBRS.
