| It doesn't hurt to ask if you at least show some respect for other people's time and a willingness to put in a little effort on your own to find the answer first. Especially if the answer is apparent. I think you will find if you have been following this thread at all your quesiton is addressed in the last 10 to 20 pages. |

| got a question regarding the new patch, what will be the new purpose of nano stabs when its only purpose will be mass reduction? will it still be good to fit for industrials/haulers or better get inerta stabs instead for faster aligning? and how do cargo expanders + mass reduction modules stack? (as in how is the calculation regarding the mass done) Last edited by Manticore : 03-18-2007 at 01:03 PM. |

+1 Internets | The effects of agility:
The effects of mass:
So inertial stabilizers, which just increase agility post-patch, probably won't be getting a whole lot of use (but they may well be cheaper, meaning that ships which only care about agility and don't fit MWD will want to use them.) Nanofibers, which decrease mass, will be popular among interceptor pilots - flying an interceptor, you will probably want a mix of overdrive injectors for raw speed and nanofibers for MWD speed and tighter orbits. Overdrives will be attractive for increasing speed on ships that have a fast natural velocity or want to be fast without using MWD. |

| New nanofibers largely suck, because the mass reduction rigs are better, and they're stacking penalized together, so what you really want is mass reduction rigs and overdrives in your lows for speed. Ofc not everyone can afford to rig up their interceptor.

+1 Internets | Right - I personally don't feel that my skill level (either SP or player skill) warrants flying an expensive rigged out factioned out interceptor yet, so I will probably leave the rigs off and fly with nano+overdrive in my lows. Anyone with rigs will prefer overdrives in their lows. |

| Not entirely happy about the richies flying expensive ceptors having even more advantages over the average pilot. Tricked out ceptors with implants are already ridiculously hard to catch, let alone kill. Hopefully the fix to logoffski in bubbles will include pods, in which case things get more interesting for actually including some risk to idiots running around with snakes. One can only hope that a new exploit doesn't replace it. |
