Anyone that can verify that? Running 2x Reppers occasionally on the hard ones, so I'm very interested to say the least.

it would be pretty retarded of them to nerf dual armor reppers, ive always been jealous of shield reppers as it is, they get a way better deal with L and XL shit.

Overall its an impressive patch.. the nano nerf is gonna turn any BS trying to do it into a slow ass turning boat.. which is good cause it will still be cool to use like cav ravens sometimes but it wont be nearly as retarded as it is atm with battleships orbiting at like 4k/s. And the changes to invention are gonna finally end the T2 overpricing, i really wonder how cheap T2 is gonna get like two months from now... I wonder if its a good change since it kinda favors old chars since they can use the way better t2 stuff more now without the side effect of the really steep costs.

Anyone have any info on the new mission NPC populations? Having fewer targets is a good thing, but could mean not being able to reduce the incoming dps on each level as quickly as you could with more (weaker) individual enemies. If they consolidate the smaller ships as well, the tacklers could be very annoying to kill (hi2u elite support frigate II).

Probably the most exciting thing is the decrease in micro needed to accomplish the same missions, particularly running two or more accounts. Having to lock and cycle weapons on 20-30 targets per level per window gets tedious.

Maybe they'll get really smart and reduce all(or at least for weapons) the T2 requirements to IV's in skills instead of V, to finally make T2 the real new standard as they've said it should be.

Then have new retarded skill reqs for the upcoming T3, of course.

No mission requires more then one ship now, though. A 10/10 complex, sure, but not level 4's.

Didn't mean to imply they did. Not currently at least. New missions sound like they will, being crafted to require capital usage. I run missions with two accounts right now because of my situation. Brand new mission runner along with my main right now because I don't play much atm and I need the cash.

Now that I think of it, did they mention anything about changing salvage rates on mission NPCs? Consolidating ships would be an indirect nerf to mission salvaging.

So how many skill points do you start out with now as a noob? I played last summer for a few weeks, but am thinking about starting over again with a new char.

Seems I got off on the wrong foot somehow last time I played and didn't really get into anything other than mining. Is it possible to transfer assets to another char on your account directly?

Not "directly", perhaps, but:

- You can send your money from one character to the other.

- If you train contracting, you can privately contract all your assets from one character to the other, but you'll actually have to go around, contract them, and then pick them up with your other character.

I wonder, are they even planning to ever nerf NOS and sensor dampeners? Especially dampeners. 3x T2 damps and you've got someone's lock range down to like 5 km, he can't do anything.

Sensor dampeners aren't as bad as you think, because sensor boosters are an very strong counter. The reason why is due to the nature of the stacking penalty; sensor boost-effects apply before sensor-dampen effects, but they are all stacking-penalized in the same group. That is, if you have three sensor boosters active and three sensor dampeners on you, the sensor dampeners are extremely ineffective.

nos is a tough nerf since its basically the only thing that stops a BS from being totally raped by an AF that happens upon it... nos makes it so a solo frig cant really take on a BS, imo thats ok since with two t2 frigs you can still wtf pwn a BS even if its a nos ship.

I think nos is fine - I have no idea how I would ever, ever die in a Crow if there wasn't heavy nos. As-is, I can fly like a retard and I still never die if I keep my wits about me, but at least I have to keep my eyes open and alert or I will get nossed and fucked.

Yeah, but heavy NOS could have its drain cut in half and it would still suck a frigate dry in seconds. Or, people could actually start using neutralizers instead of just whoring out NOS all the time. The big problem is the ships (NOSDomi) that will pack like 6x Heavy NOS and just kill people with drones, they're impossible to beat 1v1 and pretty hard to kill even 2v1, you have to gang up on them to have any chance.
