| its good for lvl 1/2 missions, best (and only) thing you can get to do lvl 2 missions early Quote:
You can fit a webber/scramler frigatte to support your friend with a good ship or something, beside that... its all about time, time and time.

| I've gotten a better handle on the game now. Played for like 12 hours straight. Currently I'm aiming for the Blackbird to move into when I'm done training the skills for it. In a Kestrel right now, got mopped up in my first PvP outing - Sebastian . I'm going to train up Propulsion Jamming, Electronic Warfare and eventually Cloaking. What I'm stuck on is what ship do I go for after that? The Covert Ops Caldari ships like the Manticore? Or the Interceptor Raptor? Or hold steady and get a Scorpion after the Blackbird? Any advice? I want to be a ninja.

| You'll want at least passable BS skills so you can make isk to finance your other hobbies, unless you have assets in the trader/miner/pimpdaddy category. If you're into sneaky sneaky stuff train recons/covops, but you might find the Pilgrim more to your style. Defying both logic and good taste, it turns out the Amarr have the best solo ganker recon class ships. And ECM is fubared right now. ![]() So are stealth bombers, but supposedly they're being fixed sometime in Kali. |

BTW, any advice on Worlds Collide level four for anyone who has completed that? The second deadspace pocket has 14 battleships within 10km when you warp in, if I align for warp the second I enter my armor is 75% gone by the time I make it out, even in the Sansha pocket with 94% EM/90% Thermal resists.

+9 Internets | My Abaddon chews through L4 missions as well, including the AE bonus. For worlds collide, make sure you fit for close range fight and make sure you don't release drones or bring in friends / alts. Doing either of that will aggro the whole stage and rape you hard. It's annoying being webbed, but you should be able to take out each group one by one, releasing drones when you get to the last group. |

| Anyone else flying a Myrmidon? I've been doing L3's pretty easily for a while now, and I have BS trainable, but I don't see the point in spending all of the money on fitting a BS if I can do L4's with it. Right now I'm just finishing up some basic 5's (Mechanic, then Electronics), but after those I think I'd like to go to 4's. Anyways, just curious if anyone else was flying a Myrm, and did reasonably well in L4's. I read some stuff on eve forums but people seem to exaggerate in every single post they make, so I'm a little wary. |

| Hey, i just started my free trial thanks to Celebrindal and i have a few questions to ask: a) I've been mining in the inner ring (or atleast what i think is called the inner ring) and been saving for a better ship, whats a cheap yet effective mining ship with lots of cargo space? b) I hear lots of these different alliances and such, like something called BoB, are there territories i shouldnt be going to incase of getting my ass shot up just for being on their "turf" (this goes for all alliances) c) the fuck, i thought this game was 2d, not even kidding, thought it was going to be like a star control game, but online Sutr |

I suggest going for an Osprey (caldari cruiser) to start off with. It gets a nice bonus to mining lasers. After that, start working towards mining barges. It will take over a month most likely, but a Coveter mining barge makes any other mining ship (except a hulk) unworthy of your time. Only work towards that if you REALLY like mining though. Personally I cant stand it so it would be a waste of time for my character. You could also start training towards battleships and throw mining lasers on those... that way you can do missions/rat in a battleship and switch over to mining if you would like. The thing about the mining barges is they eat asteroids for breakfast, but can die fairly easily too without support. b) I suggest not going into 0.0 or lowsec without asking around first about the area. Do your homework. Alot of people in certain areas are hostile to anyone who does not have a friendly standing to them. Neutrals (you) and those in negative standing are shot. Some alliances set up gatecamps at the entrance systems and you will be dead in seconds. Lowsec can be dangerous due to pirates. Other times, some areas of 0.0 and lowsec and quite empty. You just need to be on your toes and know the area. Watch local chat like a hawk. The big alliances do not control empire, so stick around there or join a decent player corp if you want to expand. They can normally teach you the ropes You normally cant go far in this game without a player corporation.
