Found something interesting for those using the free Trial period... if you decide to sign up for the subscription, it will bill you at the date you subscribed, and you will apparently lose the remaining free trial days.

when i subscribed at the end of the trial a couple years ago, i was billed at the end of the 14 days. must be a problem in billing unless CCP started this on purpose.

It's because the trial accounts have restrictions in place on them. Therefore, if you want a new account that has full unrestricted access, you don't get 14 days free.

another interesting trial tidbit is if you activate using a time code instead of the normal activation it only costs you 14.99 instead of 20.

Someone asked about newbie corps... well were not a Newbie corp but we do train new players to Eve Online and help you get started pvping.

Classes are currently on hold until the Holiday break is over. ie early January.

We offer:

PVP-Basic [The basics of frigate warfare and the hydra fitting principle]
PVP-Wolf Packs [Learn to fight effectivly as a pack]
PVP-Advanced [Learn to lead the gang and command fire teams]
PVP-Cov Ops [Learn scouting / How to fly cov-ops effectivly]

I am by no means the PR rep for our corp... Im sure they would kill me if they saw this thread lol. While we have nothing but good reviews of our classes I encourage you to take a look at our enrollment threads and read for yourselves. Please note that PVP Basic is a prereq for almost every other class that Agony offers. Alumni of PVP Basic are allowed to join agony pilots for most wolfpacks and may fly with future classes during the hands on portion. Once a class has been taken the student is allowed to retake the class for free. We also have discounts to help you get your friends to take the class with you as well as corporate accounts. All that information is available on the forums.

When your done taking PVP basic you will have the ability to take a small group of new characters flying T1 frigs / dessies in a wolfpack and take out the most expensive t2 fitted battleships / command ships. All classes have written material to read, Ventrilo Lecture time and Hands on Wolf Packs in 0.0 space where the lessons are reinforced.

FWIW ... I've taken the Basic and Wolfpack courses from these guys and they are a great (and inexpensive) introduction to small-gang PvP in EVE. The Basic class I took lasted something like 9 hours and cost me 5M isk; if that isn't a bargain then I don't know what is.

Highly recommended.

It's not just the reseeded BPOs & Invention driving down the HAC prices though - it's also the fact that the new (cheaper than HACs & fully insurable) BCs added with Revelations are adequate substitutes a lot of the time.
