| Pests are still good up to 170km in fleet combat. I haven't tried out my Typhoon for ratting since the torp changes, but it should work "ok" with cruises (if you need a ratting BS and you're heavily trained with Matar ships).

+1 Internets | Why shoot at 170km when you can shoot at 200km? Rokhs are still in optimal, and other rail boats still aren't even halfway through falloff.

+2 Internets | So, question. I'm sitting on some t2 components and a Widow 4 run BPC. I can fly the Widow if I want to, but from reading it seems as though it's pre-nerfed. Do I A) Buy more t2 components and build the Widow? I live in NPC 0.0, so no cynojammers to worry about. or B) Use the t2 components I do have to pump out a few Cerberus? I like the concept of the Widow, but having to have a cargo bay full of fuel to just jump myself and two others is...irritating. |

+1 Internets | I started playing EVE early last year, then took a nine month break. Just started back up again, I have a 10 Mil SP Caldari Character I use for mainly mission running and data core whoring in high sec and a 4 Mil SP Gallente character I'm training up to hopefully get away from high sec with.My Caldari character was in a corp who's response to any war decs was to go to the Test Server and practice. Testing was considered done conveniently about the same time as war decs were dropped. Yea, that's why I left the first time and to my surprise I was still in the corp when I came back after 9 months. I've since left them.. Anyways, my question is at what point should I start looking for a good Corp with my Gallente character? Not really interested in pirating or mining, ideally I'd like to be part of of some small combat with a semi-relaxed Corp. Any skills I should focus on right away besides the learning skills to position me better? |

| My roommate and I just started up again with new characters. We're both at about 1m sp and having a blast messing around with missions for standing and getting hammered then taking frigs to low-sec. If anyone wants to try to love this game but failed in the past due to having no one to fly with, then maybe consider installing once again and playing the trial with us. We've been playing only a few days and have about 50m isk between us, yay! Can reach me in game as Eida La. Min/maxers want the Calduri/A(something) race, with +3p/+2i... everyone wants soldier or special forces. |

Ideally you should find a satellite corp of some large alliance with lax recruitment requirements (obligatory KOS reference goes here) and leech off their resources without having to strain yourself. Practically nobody at 20m SP is still in the corp they were in at 5m SP, so feel free to just faff around.

Of course, I'm at about 33 million SP and 29 million SP with my two main guys and am reaching a "What to train next?" dilemma, anyways, so maybe indecisiveness is just swallowing me up, period.

I can think of some hilariously fun things to do with a widow in Syndicate, but most all of them involve risk. The main problem with blackops is that anything uniquely sexy you could do with the thing involves the possibility of you losing it to events outside your control. It has too heavy a pricetag to gamble with. Quote:
