note that in 0.6+ space the spawn time on rats is like 30 minutes or so, and if someone is mining there they are likely already killing them. point is you might have to do some travelling to find some.

also dont forget to salvage~

There's really no reason to rat in high sec, the bounties are going to be around 15k at the most which is pretty comparable to lvl 1 mission rat bounties. Just do lvl 1 missions, you get better money/salvage and the occasional implant and whatnot.

Actually found a Dread Gurista in a 0.7 belt .. dropped a nice low grade crystal implant too...

I heard there were faction spawns in high sec but I figured they must be shitty ones or something. Wow.

If you mine a mission roid belt, it will spawn rats similar to a lowsec system even if you're in highsec. Before I could do missions that made better isk/hr I used to use a second trial account as a miner in "Break Their Will" L1 for the freebie scordite belt. Every so often Angels will spawn, and about 1 in 5 has a Domination frigate. Got a Dom 1MN MWD the first time, just ammo and tags every other.

Not true. One day I got a true sancha spawn that dropped a charisma implant of some kind that got me 90 million. I thought I was pretty hot shit.

On edit. It was in a .6 system.

Are the smaller complexes worth running? like some of the 2/10 and 3/10's in Empire?

A lot of people make a lot of money off faction loot at the end of some of the 3/10s, I know. I'm not an expert on complexes so I really can't comment on which and what others though.

I know most of the 3/10s in Caldari space are Drone Complexes. I still don't know if its really worth it. I started doing 4/10s with my brother in two missile cruisers. We netted about 7-9mil per clear with salvaging and loot and tags and tier loot.

Aren't they pretty much always empty unless you do them right after downtime? At least in empire space...
