| Let's be honest, the EVE new-player experience IS awful. Just don't get into the missioning, ratting and mining thinking those are be-all and end-all of EVE. They're not. Save up some cash and do your level best to get into a 0.0 corp and get SOME kind of equity stake in the player-run EVE universe. |

| I've been thinking about starting up EVE again. I only played for something like 2 months the last time, so I'm curious if a new post-Revelations character is going to have more SPs than I gained through training on my own back then? I was busy and didn't really play the game much, but I was pretty good about keeping the training going all the time. Last edited by Vorph : 04-27-2007 at 01:24 PM. |

+2 Internets | Hehe, nah, he's two years my younger, we're both in our early 20s. I got him into Eve because he's a BIG group player, and WoW wasn't group/community oriented enough after two years of smashing face into the blizzard design wall. Last edited by Madrugan : 04-27-2007 at 11:21 PM. |

+2 Internets | So, after Battleships where should a mission-runner go once they have some cash? I'm not all 'leet' or such, but with what I understand about the upcoming changes to missions that move them into lower-sec and make them harder, anyone recommend a good path to follow post domi/mega/hyp for a Gallente? |

| the next step up in mission running/ratting would be carriers imo, if you're in a 0.0 corp they should be able to give you a new direction to train into, usually EWar, Interceptors, Interdictors, Cov Ops, Recons, AF or Command Ships are still in good demand after BS (and assuming you have all needed support skills) you either choose to go for capitals or specialise into T2 ships, there is no straight route to go like you did at the start with frigates->cruiser->battlecruiser->battleship Last edited by Manticore : 04-28-2007 at 04:57 AM. |
