| Privateers are carebears with guns. Their gate camps only harass noobs. Our alliance's Industrial haulers are all in npc corps, and effectively immune to their harassment. I cant think of a single major loss we've had to the privateers. Their gatecamps on top of that just arent dangerous unless your flying something really big and really slow without checking your path before going. Such people are stupid, and deserve to lose their ships. If you think the stupid little gatecamps the privateers have are dangerous, you havent been to 0,0. There are gatecamps there which you only need to experience once to realize how laughable what the privateers do is. |

There are a lot of non-goons who find them amusing but I think 'respect' is a little hard to find. What Privateers do that some people enjoy is marginally disrupt Empire for some carebears, who tend to be disliked by a lot of low/nosec types. However it goes without question that Privateers are in general spineless. They steer well clear of low/nosec because they don't get to pick their targets out there, they don't get to run around with obvious alt spies, and if they attacked someone at a gate who wasn't wardecced they might actually have to deal with sentry fire. Instead they prey on the weak in Empire and typically steer clear of a challenging circumstance of any kind. Amusing I guess if you consider that it either takes someone aggressively going after them with a significantly inferior force or a complete retard to lose a ship to them, and this sort of Darwinism goes over well with the EVE community (even non-goons!!!klsoasdkl) but most 0.0 types tend to think they're a bunch of pussies whether they find them amusing or not.

| A good squad can kill a PA camp. Most of them lack funds to afford replacement ships and gear (due to their constant wardec status and stigma in lowsec). They're only an annoyance around Jita, but that can be routed with simply waiting on a school night till 11:00. |

. Got my self a domination webifier from one particularily bright bulb. They are pretty slow too, so you can setup a system out and move into system and gank them before they know what the hell is happening. One privateer we popped in a fringe lowsec system had over 2 billion in mods on his battleship. Not one of the damn faction pieces lived. So sad.

| holy hell I had no idea of how complicated T2 production can be after reading this guide I knew that collecting materials from moons and combining them with the T1 item was somewhere involved in the process but the combining and reactions needed were new to me |

| Privateers are awesome. Basically, they hold a massive amount of active wardecs - having a wardec active against a corporation or alliance allows you to attack members of those corporations / alliances in empire without CONCORD interfering. In practice, means people have to use npc corp alts (who can't be wardecced) to do their logistics in empire, which is quite a nuisance. Don't listen to what people say - it's quite a shame losing mllions to them but people do and do it often. They just will never accept it publically =D |
