Most of the time when you're trying to warp it's already too late, it's pretty much how I lost my blackbird the other day. By the time I had realized I was warp scrammed I had about enough time to jam the interceptor before my ship went pop. What can ya do though?

More or less a lack of common sense on the interceptor pilots behalf made them lose a juicy T2 fitted scorp and got to pop my T1 fitted blackbird. What can ya do though? :P

Drone Navigation V Drone Sharpshooting IV Drones V Scout Drone Operation IV It's probably not a worthwhile option for you since you've already trained Drones to V on your existing character and thats a decent chunk of time invested already, but you never know. The breakdown for basic drone skills to learn: Drones: # of drones you can control per lvl Scout Drone Operation: Allows you to use Light (5m3) and Medium (10m3) combat drones, adds 5km/lvl to drone control range (control range is for all drones, not just lights) Heavy Drone Operation: Allows you to use Heavy (25m3) combat drones, 5%/lvl to damage of Heavy Drones Drone Interfacing: 20%/lvl damage/mining yield Electronic Warfare Drone Interfacing: allows you to use ewar drones (each type has its own additional skill prereqs), adds 3km/lvl to drone control range (all drones, requires Elec. Warfare IV) Combat Drone Operation: 5%/lvl to damage for light and medium drones Drone Sharpshooter: 5%/lvl to drone optimal range Drone Durability: 5%/lvl to drone shield/armor/hull hit points Drone Navigation: 5%/lvl to orbit/mwd speed Bolded skills are what I'd consider must haves listed in the approximate order you should learn them in, though a specialist will probably want to do Drone Interfacing before Heavy's. note: Ewar drone interfacing is a ways off but the extra control range is decent enough to warrant the skill investment in the prereq for a drone specialist, even if you don't intend on using Ewar Drones. Italicized skills are marginal upgrades to your drones, again in roughly the appropriate order. They have wider ranges for prereqs involving your own gunnery/navigation/etc skills, learn them eventually but no rush. Outside of Combat Drone Operation their use is situational anyway (and thats only useful if you are using light/med drones) That just about covers basic drone stuff. After heavy drones comes Sentry Drones and Fighters, but by that time you'll already know what's what. Beyond Combat drones there are speciality drones for Mining, Nos, shield/armor rep, webs, and EWar (ECM, target disrupters, sensor damp, and painters) and there's skills to support those. The Tier 2 Versions of your basic combat drones require the appropriate _Racial_ Drone Specialization skill. ie T2 light drones require Drones V, Scout Drones V, racial spec I. Mediums are the same just Racial spec II. Heavy's require Drones V, Heavy Drones V, Racial Spec IV. Last edited by Kazgrim : 04-05-2007 at 11:46 AM.

+14 Internets | ....Ewar drone interfacing increases drone control range by 3km for all drones? I'll be goddamned, I never knew that. < Obviously not a drone specialist. However NO ONE should bypass drone skills unless they play a non-Gallente small ships specialist and never want to move above cruiser/or they are a pure industry (non-mining!) slash hauling character. |

), which is why the ceptor had you tackled. It sounds to me that the interceptor pilot was doing his job perfectly, and because of that they got a kill (you). It was the cruisers/bc/bs of the fleet who lost their scram on the primary that let him get away.message paid for by the United Alliance of Interceptor and Interdictor Pilots. We're always getting blamed for shit that's not even our fault and never get any props.

| its their third wardec of e-uni this year but this time it smells a lot like they got payed to attack us yesterday they had around 7-8 bs lurking around our HQ and trying to bait members to attack them, using varied tactics ranging from having one sit outside a station while the rest of their gang was hiding in a safe spot/in another system ready to gang warp to him and also to try and use login traps that we didn't fell for sadly we didn't have the guys with the big guns available partly cause of a 0.0 ops so they weren't engaged however, these behaviour of trying to camp our HQ for quite some time is unusual for privateers unless they got hired by someone to do so |

the overall organisation of corps within privateers is chaotic as many of them just join for some fun and leave as quick as they came but they also got some corps that work together quite well, mainly the ones with members that have several million SP Last edited by Manticore : 04-06-2007 at 02:22 AM.

| Well it's defintly fun times. With the uni, anyhow. It's good practice to put all these pvp tactics we've been given into practice. I'm actually looking forward to it lasting, since they canceled the last wardec. First time I've come across recon ships and the like, I'm actually learning alot. I don't mind the occasional gate camp, or running from a PA fleet, it's all a new experience to me. |

| They're a loose-knit alliance of players that wardec anyone not in an npc corp or otherwise overly competent. Then they blob hubs in empire space, instagibbing high-value targets attempting to trade or pass through while banking on stuff like undock lag and container debumping to work in their favour. Everyone universally loathes them since Jita is so essential to selling certain items and being forced to use npc corp alts to transfer goods is a massive pain in the ass.
