a) I never said WoW was "for" 7 year olds. I said it can be played by them, and it can.
b) I never said Vanguard is going to be the end all be all.

I'm sick and tired, much like others are of the people that come in here and spout off crap about how badly a game that isn't even released sucks. I was in WoW beta... I got to level 19 with a hunter before quests got bugged and wouldn't update with me... so i had to start over. I got the wonderful joy of waiting up to 3 minutes for the server to catch up with me skinning a mob... what great fun and stability there! High Polish I say... perfection from day one.

You people need to realize that in fact you don't know jack shit about the game unless you've actually played it and then at that point it's like sitting in a car that doesn't have any seats and no windows talking about what a miserable driving experience it is... but oh wait, it's not off the freaking assembly line yet.

I think its freaking hilarious how anyone who comes and posts in defense of a game that gets 1k+ views in under a couple hours of being posted is labled as a "paid shil" and the countless others of you that come into these threads and muck them up with your entirely predictable rants about how bad the game sucks and how no one wants to hear about it, aren't labled as WoW Vanbois or Blizzard paid shils.

How many of you "the sky is falling leveling curve" people have actually played the game? How many of you have travelled into the future and seen the horrid grind to level X? You're probably the same people that just want to enter a game and start doing raid level stuff.. ghee what fun!

I think you'd be very surprised at how many people from this board show up on the beta boards, and even more surprised that some of the most vocal VG haters are in fact in beta (and contribute quite a bit of good information on the beta boards).

Sad part is, for every 1 person who has actually been in the Beta and can speak from first hand experience, there is about 25 others that are basing everything on an assumption.

I don't know if this is directed at me, but if it is, know that I'm not saying this is as a bad thing per se. I was responding to the poster above and his comment about "Lolz WoW can be played by 7 year old" -- you know, the typical insecure Vanboy criticism levelled against WoW.

Basically, VG is no more "difficult" to play, or requires no more "skill" than does WoW, it just has certain mechanics that create greater timesinks. I hate to break it to all the WoW-hater/VG lovers, but its true. Or at least that is what some birdy in beta told me . . . yeah, that's the ticket.

This game seems to be getting really old real fast. Seeing all these stills make me feel like I've already played the game and got tired of it. I'd suggest lock the doors and pull down the shades finish up the game and a week before release launch an ad campaign. Not this drip and drab stuff thats going on now. People are getting annoyed with it.

I'm glad UO/EQ/WoW/others weren't out when I was 7. They weren't out when I was still in school. I think if they had been I would have flunked. Not that it would have mattered really. I don't remember a fucking thing from any classes. What a waste of time school was.

Uh anyways, I'm very pissed toward Blizzard devs at the moment. I have new interest in VG and I'm hoping they make a great game.

There's something I'd like to know about the game, though. How is healing/support handled? Is the current intent for healers in VG to force them to stare at rows of health bars? Is it the infamous whack-a-mole design?

Is it more like EQ2? Is it more like WoW with mods?
