Only gripe I have with the shots is,

Can't you change facial features? Why is the only difference between the heads of the characters in the pictures the color and type of hairstyle?

Vanguard really has the best looking armor of any MMO so far. It's a very good balance between style and realism. The faces are also very well done.

Gotta admit I really don't like the character graphics that I've seen so far for this game. I'd take EQ1 Luclin graphics over those.

Maybe the vanguard characters look better in motion...but in those screenshots they appear to be either scared out of their minds, or completely soulless.

The main goal of any of these games is to make your character look completely badass, but I'm not sure thats even possible with faces like those.

Then again vanguard has always looked terrible in screenshots and better in movie clips, so maybe it doesn't look as bad in motion.

Environments look OK, but the characters look creepy as all hell.

This held true for WoW as well. Everyone hated the character shots until they saw them in motion. THen it was pwny.

Thank you! For some reason people aren't complaining enough about this to me. The surrounding mean nothing in terms of looking cool if your model still looks ala year 2000. God I cannot get into those models/faces/hair, let alone the animations for attacking.

I was originally going to give Brad the benefit of the doubt because EQ is the best game I've probably ever played (at least long term). But god this game has too many bad things I can't see myself doing it the closer and closer we get.
