Kidding or not, I'd give them one because the people who exploit content are some of the best 'testers' - Although in most cases they aren't 'testing' on purpose, I'd rather shit like that be caught while in Alpha/Beta instead of it going live.

Call me crazy!

That assumes they'd even tell anyone. After narcing on like 20 different fast cash sploits back in the original beta some days I wish I had kept my mouth shut.

I recently was up at Turbine and sat in a few nights of in Testing for LOTRO, and had one of the developers tell me that exploiters are exactly the kind of people they want in their Testing phase.

Maybe it would've been smarter for them to send them via in game e-mails, which leads to a link on the main site.

I've played since Beta 1 (more or less), and I didn't get an invite. I mean what the hell? Oh wait, my account's frozen currently... (*fistshakes at school taking all my time*)

Nethaera said they're just contacting people ahead of time - I'd expect the people from the leveling contest, etc will be contacted closer to the time the beta actually starts.

Guess the threshold for getting a beta invite is higher than killing Sapphiron. I am mad QQing about no beta invites for Ret.

Once again, for the love of god, my signature breaks the forums please delete it.

the people who won at leveling contests already got a confirmation, that they have a spot in the beta.

I thought at the end of levelling contest they announced that there were so few people interested anyone who created a character on the server was getting an invite

you still needed to fit into atleast 1 category of the contest (the most likely being atleast one character to level 20). anyone under level 20 who also did not have any honor gain won nothing.
