I dont know, after being in the Closed beta for wow back in the day, Ican say that it ruinded my experience.

I would of rather started with the masses as one of the ill informed and had that great time at release, rather than an unfinished beta. But thats just me. Ill pass.

In theory I agree with Mkopec1, I'd like to see outland on release with my real characters.. on the other hand, I'd definitely check it out if I got a beta invite.

I couldn't do it, I have said it a few times I don't want to spoil the 'surprise' but I can't wait. I also peek at Christmas presents if given the chance. I have no shame at all!

You'll probably need one of these:

You're a big geek if you know specifically what that is right away.

Or an espresso machine.

I remember when Zelda 2 came out for NES, I snuck into my mom's closet and opened it up and played it, while she was at work. Then before she wrapped the presents, I tried(in vain) to make it look like it was unopened. I was good at sneaking shit out of the hiding spots. However, I was not very good at opening shrinkwrap-sealed boxes.

It's legit, Predestined was invited as well. I'm wondering what the criteria for being chosen was though.

Looks like a TEM to me. It's not about being a big enough geek, but rather the right type of geek though.
