| Iirc, a community rep.(don't remeber who) posted that they didnt like the current meeting stone implmentaion and had plans to revisine/remove it. I was roaming around the outland on a sandbox and I ended up seeing two meeting stones near dungeons, one of them was near Auchindoun and i can't recall where the other was. Probably safe to assume meeting stones will either intergrated into a new lfg system, or just left the way they are in their current state. |

| I vote retard rocks become the standardized name for the meeting stones. On a side note the removal of the /lfg tool in early 1.0 was the worst decision Blizzard has ever made in World of Warcraft. Retard rocks are a close second. |

+1 Internets | I thought somebody named them Rickshaw Rocks? Anyways, as everyone else has already mentioned. There is absolutely no excuse to have no kind of real LFG system. It seems like it would be trivial to put in a very basic LFG tag at the very least to hold us over until they can implement a real LFG system in TBC. |

| I wonder how many times a meeting stone is clicked per day, gamewide - and what percentage of those are RFC/WC and the clicker doesn't know what they are.

| There already is a good LFG tool, CallToArms. The problem is it's optional. Anything that is an installed component rather than an addon is an improvement over what we now have. Even a check box. Adding a check box, would, however, be a cheapass fix for a real problem in WoW as a whole. |

Take EQ's fucking LFG system already, jesus christ. Have a pug, two people do well and other suck, add the two people to your buddy list. Do that a bunch of times and lo and behold, eventually you have a whole bunch of... get this... friends. | |

| Are you guys speaking from a lvl 60 perspective or a 1-59 perspective? I've leveled a lot of chars and the best way to find people is exactly how you did it back in EQ: /w mage 46-49 and message every person on the list who's not already in an instance. For the past few days I've done this to get groups in Zul'farrak and I've come across many idiots but I've also added about 7 people to my friends list since they knew their shit. It may be different at 60 since you have a shit load more people, but hell, at 60 what are you using PUGs for :P |

+5 Internets | Hi2u ![]() edit: Whoever created that screenshot is a fag for thinking a LFG tool is "his" idea. It was in EQ like 5 years ago. Last edited by Jubee : 09-27-2006 at 02:43 PM. |
