+107 Internets | Err...wasn't the beta LFG "tool" just a /lfg flag that showed in a the /who window? I don't remember it being all that great, though anything is better than the current completely-lacking version. |

| You also could tell if people were grouped or not (very easy in your guild since it was one of the columns). Which means you could actually verify some people in say, Ironforge, weren't grouped, and you could send random tells that actually had a chance of catching someone interested who just didn't have their LFG tag up |

| "Guild groups are the way to go." You do realize how much rarer guild groups are compared to PUGs when it comes to doing the instance you want to do, right? In a 50-man guild, much less the 25-30-man guilds in TBC, guild groups form about once every 2-3 hours and that's assuming you have a reserved spot in every guild group your guild fields. Is it that surprising that people don't want to spend 2-3 hours LFG every time they log on? |

At this point not having an actually useable LFG function is just being lazy. Having a channel is not good enough, they are a total spam fest and EQ had better group finding functionality 4 years ago than WoW does today. Besides, like every game has a decent group searching system. | |

+166 Internets | Plus there are those of us who are chronic twinkers and wouldn't mind having a /lfg system for the low level dungeons. The biggest pain is doing a "/who 25-29 mage" and sending a tell to each one when you want one. |

| I wonder if they have time in the schedule for this ? This is probably one of the biggest sore thumbs in Wow that I have seen. The global LFG definately helped some, but unleashing the bnet kiddies on a global stage is a great example of what not to do. /crosses fingers

| I'm all up for a LFG system that doesn't suck donkey testicles. I'm leveling up a new character on a server that my main and guild isn't on because I wanted to play on a PvP server with a couple friends. I only have one of them that is the same level range as myself and the small guild (10 people, more of a chat room basically) we're in don't always have time/the ability to run someone through ZF or some mid level dungeon like that. |

| It really amazes me how easy this is to implement, the overall lack of it. Screw the tool, just LFG on and being able to /who lfg is fine. Its either on or off. A simple database toggle. This isn't that difficult, on any level. |

| EQ's LFG system seem pretty good to me. You open up the UI, type in a comment what you're LFG for and you're gtg. People looking for members will open up their UI, see the people listed along with their class/lvl and can send a tell to them. The channel spam sucked in '99, it still sucks today. As good as WoW is, it's retarded to force people to use this archaic method to find groups outside of guilds. You'd think this would be a fundamental basic that they'd thought was necessary from the get-go.
