OSIgnite: Ignite Tachometer Mod

Written and designed by members of your favorite guild. OSIgnite will display Tachometers, yes I said Tachometers, which will show you information for rolling ignites. This mod will sync with other people in your party/raid using the mod to display more accurate information. The mod has sounds which you can use as audio cues to help roll better ignites.

Enjoy!

Needing and/or using that many mods in general is retarded. What if suddenly ui mods were banned in WoW and they had a way to stop them completely. Would WoW's endgame suddenly be infinately harder, if not impossible? I haven't played WoW since release when I got 60 in a month and had beaten all the content after three months. Does the endgame *require* that much crap?

I don't like the skin on it at all. The idea is great, syncing ignites = bling bling dps, especially with the new talents and that spell coming out...but this thing just looks ostentatious.

Obviously a mod like this is superfluous. However mods in general in end game raiding are pretty standard. Blizzard has for some time tried to emulate what the mod writers are doing and incorporate it into the standard blizzard UI. So if anything I think they encourage mod writing in wow, and yes it helps a shitload with beating new content.

Everyone would whine and cry because they made the game hard. "You mean I actually have to figure out who has a curse on them???!!?!?!?!! FUCK THAT!!!".

Just curious but how do you actively force a crit?

Don't hate murr. It has fucking tachometers! Watch the video!

Besides, it makes playing the game as a fire mage more entertaining, especially since you work together within the raid.

Combustion. You get +10% crit for each spell after it's been activated that doesn't crit, till you crit 3 times. So popping combustion then casting fireballs guarantees you three crit fireballs eventually.

Hmm so big rolling ignite attempts only happen every 3 minutes? What I've read seems to suggest there's some method for keeping an ignite up for a long period of time, though could just be exageration, the internet is full of that.

All your mages use combustion and pyroblast at the same time once their combustion is stacked up a bit, this gets the biggest possible ignite going (it only stacks 5 times). You then scorch to keep the ignite going, and the pyroblast ignite values are carried forward.

Ah ok, didn't realize that the ignites from scorch wouldn't overwrite the pyroblast ignites.
