Ignite is like sunder, you build up 5 stacks, then when you re-apply it refreshes the timer. So if you got 5 big fireball/pyro crits to start, any crit after simply refreshes the timer and keeps the original ticks going. If you got 5 pitiful scorch or partial resist crits to start, your damage will suck.

Assuming you had 5x 3000 fireball crits (with Scorch/CoE debuff) it would yield 5x (600 x 1.25) = 3750 ignite damage per tick. Each crit after gives another tick and a chance to refresh for more within 4 seconds. The damage will always be 3750 until the debuff timer runs out and you have to restack.

Hurrah for Curse-Gaming being down.

Is it linked anywhere else?

You complain but modding is all I find interesting in WoW anymore.

Does the endgame *require* that much crap?
No, you're right, the game hasn't changed at all in a 20 months.

p.s. grats on clearing UBRS.

Why can't they add some new droppable items, anyway?

For some moronic reason, I decided to re-subscribe today for the first time in nearly a year.

After logging on, I immidiately went to the auction house to see what was for sale. The same goddamn items I remember from a year ago.

I played two games of AV, logged out, and cancelled again. Well worth the $15, yes.

AV eh? You sure stumbled upon the pinnacle of game design in WoW there.

And what good would new world drops do exactly, except a useless change of scenery?

YEAH...I love what they turned AV into. Quite interesting now. Both teams run straight to the bosses and see who can kill them first.

It was more fun when they could last a couple of hours, if not several (or even a day!)

What the fuck would more drops do? Oh, I don't know, give the game more flavor? Been to the bazaar in Everquest lately? There are thousands of new items since 1999, if not thousands since I quit in 2003.

Plenty of new items in WoW too shit for brains, they're all BoP and you can't buy them on the AH.

Scroll up and read the part where I said "droppable items."

Now remove the foot from your mouth. Twit.

I won't further waste my time arguing with someone with 3500 posts who registered last year.

No one cares about droppable items you mouthbreathing moron. I realize the 700dmg poison ticks in scholo (how the hell do you avoid those anyway???!) turned you off on the whole instance thing but there's plenty of new items found in instances.

Uhh droppable items are not a factor in this game beyond ebayers buying gold and buying them at level 45.

If you love your droppable items and bullshit so much I hear EQ is still going on. Did you post in the thread just to bash WoW or what?
