I'm disappointed by the cynicism on display here. That video was nothing but positive for me. Honestly, that looked like the most atmospheric thing I've seen since Guk.

Hearing that it's a 10-man is interesting though. Could be the ultimate casual dungeon. A place that a smallish group could spend a week traversing from successful start to finish.

I really hope the place is alive. Even with 40 people I feel like a place like that would seem barren and boring without a lot of scripted NPC activity going on.

It almost makes me wish for a shared instance of some kind in which multiple groups could participate cooperatively.

If they followed the "Last Guardian" book, which takes place exactly in this tower, it should be Ghosts and maybe Demons. But again, the tower doesn't remotely look like it was described in the book ; so who knows.

Very cool. Can't wait to see it firsthand.

Since I fail at Google, can someone PM me the keyword to search for this video? Or PM the link itself it that's allowed? I keep finding this stupid Crypt video of the basement that I've visited before myself, I want to see l33t photo's

edit: thanks, got it now - and let me just say wow, that video was awesome. I know they couldn't do it with the boss/mobs in it, but I really can't wait to start crawling in that dungeon. Hopefully they do have some sort of waypoint that'll reset on instance reset, damn does that make me excited to see the content though.

I think it was the music that did me in. Listening to that crap while showing off the place made me want to blow my eardrums out.

I really like the design, although holy crap is it huge.

You're kidding right?

IMO, the "newer" art team is soooo much better then the "old" art team. For example, Tier 2 vs. Tier 3, anyone? AQ40/Naxx vs. MC and BWL. I'm sure learning from past mistakes and trial and error have something to do with it, but damn, the difference is pretty noticable....

Just go to video.google.com and type in "Karazhan". It's the very first link.

I watched the 17 minute version and I thought the music for the first half was great and none of it really bothered me.

I'm pretty sure that was a sarcastic jab at the chicken littles who have been telling us that our precious WoW was going to look like shit when the much maligned and rumored "new art team" was forced to stop resting on the laurels of their predecessors and design shit for the expansion. And now look! Those naysayers shall have their glorious moment of vindication in the shining light of what has been revealed to us through the magic of google video!

Anyway, shut up about the music already, unless someone knows the artists and titles of the tracks.

Oh yeah, and I hope I can eat some of the food off those tables. The possibilities for mangina cyber whores to invite people to participate in orgies on that bed is enormous too.

That reminds me of the Zinwrath movie where Basutai or whatever his name was macking on the naked chick on the bed...

Ahh Illegal Danish, why can't your new movie be any closer?

Somehow it feels a bit too 'oversized' for humans to live in. Grand palaces and such are nice, but a big part of that instance looks like it was designed for ogres to move five abreast in every part of it.

Looks great though, etc. Can't wait.

Or Titans...

DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

You'll notice the museum has a dwarf looking Titan statue on display right as she walks in.
