It's not so much the need of realistic cow routines but rather complex AI's (fun!) vs pathed crrap (boring). Kind of got the feeling brad n folks would have loved to have the former but available server harwarde nowadays made them settle for the latter. Oh well.

I'm going to try the game no matter what... don't need selling, will not get burned out pre-release, no need for over-information.

This doesn't do anything for me because the word and opinions of most people I've read who've had nothing good to say about the game are about as useful to me as wet toilet paper in Hell, so if "this looks way better than I imagined!" you need to fix your imagination.

They really should find a happy medium between the two. I personally couldnt stand the rogues who jump around me while we dueled or whatever it made me think I was playing counter strike and was annoying as hell.

At the same time I dont want another game as slow as EQ1. Only class I could play in EQ1 was a bard because it was so active. So if they had a MMO that was somewhere between EQ bard, and WoW rogue I think everyone can be somewhat happy.

It looks like the subtle way to encourage grouping is by making fights last an obscene amount of time solo. I would definitely understand if this was something 'yellow' or even 'green', but a grey mob really shouldn't take that long (my opinion) with yellow damage included.

I've read all about the slow moving combat, allowing you to input chains and maneuver, and it all sounds like a great idea. But ~35secs to kill something significantly lower level seems a bit extreme.

Hopefully this is something that's still being tweaked out?

Looks pretty good. I just hope i can enjoy the game. I been playing EQ for a long while. I still enjoy it, but if a game thats better comes out and i like it i will make the switch. WoW to me was a piece of shit.

Anyways, i just hope i could enjoy it.
