Did you ever play Planetside? It's actually a funny experience. The game grows with your computer specifications. 3 years ago I had a 1ghz Pentium and it ran rather slow and now I got a 3.5 ghz machine and it's still just as slow. Now don't get me wrong, the game doesn't have incredibly impressing graphics, it's just a case of pisspoor programming. Looking at Vanguard and having played it for a bit, it really reminds me of PS in that area.

Yeah the min reqs are gonna shit on any kinda of big opening Sigil could hope for.

I think my machine barely meets them and I'm sure as hell not gonna run to newegg to upgrade for a game that isn't getting the best reviews so far.

I think Sigil's covert strategy for eliminating the secondary market in Vanguard is to make sure you don't have any money left after you upgrade your machine enough to play it.
