It got nerfed in 1.12...for most epic'd out warlocks, it is doing roughly 200-250 less damage/heal. Also why should it be nerfed? Mages get a metric fuckton of instant escape abilities. Warlocks will still only have DC and their fears unless you spec heavy into destruction...that ae stun isnt a core ability, you realize this?
I have to admit that I am excited about some of the changes. SOME. Then again they kind of reflect some of the changes I posted in my comprehensive warlock overhaul. I dont know if they saw it or even read it but there are definately some similarities and effort put into these talents.

Tho dark pact NEEDS to become activate/deactivate at 2 second tic pulse. That little ability change would make that talent pretty god damn nice.

Giving us an ability to lower threat every 2 min is fine. Take away the fucking shard requirement. It's not like they are actually going to give us mobs to get shards from anyway. They expect us to farm for an hour before each raid just to play our fucking class. First clue should be the guilds who REQUIRE warlocks to bring 40ish shards.

Not sure how the mages feel about their talents but they look pretty sweet to me.

I think the paly talents look pretty good overall as well, though I havent gone over any other class than warlock with a fine tooth comb yet.

No mention of fixing enslave demon.

As for warriors... I really hope they make Prot warriors into threat-meatshield machines. Give defiance like 20% more threat than it already gives. Make the 31 point talent generate about 10% more aggro than it does.

Then give the prot warriors a talent to increase their "level" in battle. For example at lvl 60 they show up as lvl 63 or 64. Lowering crushing blows.

At lvl 70 maybe make their "level" 80 to mobs.

Im just spouting crap off but I hope they get some real good love.

While I will enjoy the arena as a shadow priest, if I wanted to be a healer I'm pretty sure paladin is the way to go. In fact, the more they take paladins away from healing the more valuable their heals become in PVP. Give them a ton of non-healing centric survival/buffing talents innately and then just buff the shit out of their healing through gear, hell, even cloth, and see what happens.

My own PVP belief is that healers should be nearly invincible until the classes they're supporting are downed first, none of this "lol drill teh priest" shit that happens now. I think WoW pvp could take a nice lesson from the abilities of a Monk in GW... or any of a number of games that afford healers this luxury...

Who rules preventative healing? Power word shield? Pff. Paladins by far.

Looking at all those new quite nice talents I'd wish they would give 2 talent points per level past 60.

They're not fake I'm quite sure.

On the other hand, that doesn't mean they will make final release untouched. I suspect many of the talents and spells will undergo tweaks and changes as more balance testing is done.

Word on the street is that Priest talents aren't done yet... but apparently they get a ghetto Shadowburn (no shard, but heals back up after a few seconds), a Shadow heal (Regrowth without the HoT effect style) and Brainwash makes a comeback.

Endless rage + crit furious throw = dead mage...

The protection talents seem nicer, some spell resistance finally, but the arms / fury talents are tempting as well...
