| Yeah the older epics are a bit too rare in zg imo. We did it twice this weekend to equip some recruits that rerolled alliance from horde while our meet was going on and we had terrible drops tonight. Jin'do coughed up the goods though dropping the staff and mace in the same kill - fairly decent I guess. I think we've only seen one pair of the boots off the tiger boss and such. Anyway, the newer loot is a good thing though and gives a glimpse of what TBC encounters will probably be itemized like. It carries over into Naxx as well, I can't really say I have many gripes about the newer itemization and item design at all. HOWEVER, killing Gothik the first time and getting a mail frost resist helm and one set piece eats ass. If anything that resist gear should have its own drop slot and be similar to the bag in ZG - only a chance to drop instead of 100% of the time. |

A separate loot table for resist items is the way to go. That way when it drops, it's "hey cool, we got some extra loot" instead of "fuck resist gear, give us real loot instead".

+75 Internets | Going to be interesting to see if we will change our minds about resist gear once we learn what the Kel'Thuzad/Sapphiron encounters are like. It could be very possible that we will be required to have everyone in nearly full resist gear to progress past these mobs. Or it could be like me spending a weekend farming for NR gear on my priest and never using it in AQ =P |

+1 Internets | I saw Jeklik's Crusher, Thekal's Grasp, Band of Servitude, and Jin'do's Hexxer in one run last week. The last run we got the same drops minus the Crusher. Sucks to be you I guess. From the short video I saw of the Kel'Thuzad encounter, the beginning at least is another zerg, which didn't seem to require any FrR. |

+75 Internets | 3 bosses ( four horsemen/sapp/KelThuzad). Dues Vox and Death and Taxes are the ones that far. Four Horsemen is taking quite a while(possibly longer than any other boss so far), but I'm betting sapphiron will take even longer, and Kel'Thuzad yet longer. My reasoning is that it may require you to farm frost gear to gear our everyone in it. |

+25 Internets | Nope as long as you could zone into Kod'Taz you could go all the way to Uqua though another zone (Yktt'a ??). The single group Ikkinz trials were a prereq for the 2 (or 3) Ikkinz raid trials.

The conversation you just gayed though was about how Grand Masters in chess are not attainable for 99.99% of people, even if they try really hard and devote a lot of time to it. While end game raiding lewts are available to anybody who loves mashing buttons for hours on end and can follow orders. Yours faithfully, Karisa
