I have a friend that took a warrior from 1 - 65 in 5 days PLAYED...if you read back he said played not 3 days RL time...so it is very possible.

No it's not. Not just by pathing exploits. With mq2 plugins? Maybe.

In my opinion players should be able to do anything that is allowed within the framework of the game. Since the way you pose the question implies that Blizzard has not stepped in, then I think this is just creative use of game mechanics.

I would say it really depends on what the exploit is. If it is something obviously wrong (like asshats abusing pathing) then no I wouldn't.

Our first two razorgore kills we used a bug where you can have him MC'd after all the eggs are poped and all the guys run out. Puts you out of combat and lets you res nearly everyone. I don't know anyone who knows of this besides our guild though.

We also used the rejaxx solo pull method.

Considering how many western wastes dragons i soloed on my druid, i probably shouldnt comment on anything resembling the legality of exploits ^^

Oh, and pathing in that chardok might need a worthy mention too.

Sploit away all you want if you (a) can deal with the drama, (b) are sure there will be no drama (c) you are sure you can get away with it, without getting caught by "The Man"

Yes, but I would sure to be able to make a post on the boards detailing exactly how I did it so that I could screw over anyone else trying to exploit after me once Blizzard inevitably hotfixes it (hello Patchwerk hotfix several hours after a post on the boards mentioned the exploit)
