If I don't use every available exploit I feel like I'm cheating myself.

No second thought about it. Yes.

It would be a different story if it was a non-instanced game.

My account somehow got locked over a year ago when they were doing board work, and I just noticed today that Requiem got around to my many-months old emails. Looks like the post count got traded for the new post button :P

Hope norg is treating you all well; the short time I spent in SR was amusing if nothing else. I never noticed you as a poster here but then again, I doubt I would have remembered anyhow.

<-- Cel* if you never made that connection.

We were never actually able to split his dogs from him technically. We did "split" them, but it was the dogs while he wasn't aggro. We had no idea how the encounter worked at the time and tried killing the dogs - when it got to the point where it heals back to full it aggroed golemagg onto us.

Is this about the wrath bonus? I won't say anymore but I've seen the posts on the forums. Hard to believe that's actually true though.

Edit: And no, we wouldn't exploit that. We can't even if we wanted to, we're all enjoying the game and would rather not have our accounts banned.

I wonder if the pre-1.11 Fankriss max range trick was a bug or just working as intented.

I leveled a necro pre-pop from 1-52 in 3 days played time on nothing but pathing exploits.
Dunno about that, but in vanilla EQ I knew a bard who would afk all night with that dot song on one of the temple roofs in CT. The lizards couldnt path up there, and he would wake up with a couple levels hehe ;P

That's not true. The first two maybe three warlocks are actually worth bringing. Hunter is without a doubt the most useless class on Patchwerk. Even warlocks four and five are better than hunters.

Anyways, to the people that have said they would exploit the 8/8 Wrath vs. Patchwerk bug, you're basically just saying you play this game for the epics and the epeen. That pretty much makes you a little bitch. Just an FYI.

If I heard it right, the bug was fixed last night.

For those that don't know, eight piece wrath is a one-charge buff that gives 100% parry, but Patchwerk's hateful strikes don't take it away. So you put a tank to take the hateful strikes that has the buff from a previous fight, and boom, no more hateful strike problem.

Err 8/8 Wrath gives 4% parry chance after a block, not 100% :S

some people get confused by the wording.

Its a 4% chance when you block, to proc a 100% to parry buff.

=)
