| Anything thats the devs fault (IE isnt actual cheating like running third part programs) and they havent specifically said not to do, I'm going to do until they come up to me and tell me to stop. It's their mistake, should have had better QA before the release. |

+2 Internets | I assume you're talking about the bug with HS on Patchwerk? Lame as hell obviously. Report it and move on. Maybe make a big post about it so Blizzard decide to fix it if you think too many guilds are exploiting it, heh. Hope they fix it fast if they haven't. |

| Reminds me of the ramp pathing exploit in The Overthere, the one going to SkyFire. You could take and pull a mob to the left side of the ramp, facing the ZL to skyfire, then fear the mob, and they would then become stuck on the ramp...rinse and repeat for quick exp gains. And hell yes I used this up until they fixed it. If I use my own knowledge and abilities to gain more faster than intended then it is not wrong. It's in the game and that entitles me to use it. Period.

It's when you start solo'ing things you shouldn't be able to solo, or avoiding certain key abilities of bosses, or griefing other players that those "bugs", in my book, become "exploits". Effortlessly kiting a mob up and down a ramp/ledge to kill it because it's stupid and has to take some long-ass round-about route to reach you is far different from, say, finding a way to avoid Vael's Burning Adernaline attack, even when both are a result of using in-game mechanics.

+49 Internets | Patchwerk is a stupid encounter anyways. I shed no tears if someone found out a way to make it less ghey. PS: I am a warlock, the most useless class on patch ;(

| Had several opportunities over several bosses including naxx. And we always choose NOT to exploit, and this is how I will keep it. also -- have a hard line against pathing bugs while exping myself as well. Last edited by ilian; 07-20-2006 at 11:00 PM.. |

+1 Internets | Whatever gets the job done quicker, although exploiting really servers no purpose because it WILL be fixed eventually and you still don't have the know how to beat the encounter. Not that I speak from experience or anything. Ahem. Cough.
