Yea, I'm glad Blizzard is making sure horde 2h fury war dps stays in line with alliance 2h war dps... oh wait.

I actually think this move is quite ingenious on the part of Blizzard:

Take a weakened faction, nerf it even more, then bring it back up to where it was and say you "buffed" them. Saves them from having to find an actual solution to the faction imbalance by saying "Hey guys, at least we didn't nerf windfury!"*

*In patch 1.12 mind you. Who knows down the road what other precieved "imbalances" they might try to fix...

Then exclude WF procs from Hamstring and stuff like that, that would be a nice PVP nerf perfectly acceptable.

It did occur to me at the start of all this that the likely outcome would be a withdrawl of the nerf and a hope for happy horde as a result. Lo and behold, they did just that and it is far from the first time Blizz has played the super-nerf followed by backing off trick. At the end of the day though, Horde is still heavily disadvantaged and is still getting little to no communication.

Now I'll step out and allow the thread to follow the usual pattern.

This is all too funny. Apparently all of our problems will be solved in 8 - 10 months at best with the expansion. Right now it is all about the USELESS filler!

Nice bait and switch blizzard. Kudos!

This combined with the repeated "Just wait until the expansion - it'll solve everything" has bought Blizzard barely enough time to launch TBC...providing that it actually happens this year, of course.

Woe betide them if TBC further fucks up the A:H balance, though.

With the coming of The World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, Blizzard is pleased to offer this new preview of Factional Dungeons. Now players can enter dungeons custom balanced around their own unique faction's strengths. Adventurers from the Alliance will have the Mires of Maddness to explore. This terrific zone will offer deadly challenges and some of the greatest loot. Horde players will be allowed to assault the Dead Mines. Terrible challenges await the horde from level 19 elite monsters and incredible white loot from the bosses.

They heard Samuel L. Jackson plays a shaman.. or was it Chuck Norris ?
