| Well I think this seals the deal. http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thre...tmp=1#blizzard I'm having a hard time justifying putting anymore time into the shaman class given the upcoming changes and in light of this news. Honestly I'm seriously questioning whether investing time in Horde PvE raiding is nothing more than an exercise in self flagillation at this point.

| I.. just.. don't.. get.. it.. They wont' tell us the reasoning behind it, and seem to be ignoring all the evidence that BOTH factions are presenting to show the imbalance. It's as if the entire blizzard development team is comprised of morons, which is obviously not true, but yet we hear nothing and get told 'it's fine noob, QQ more'. I mean, look at the cross-server BG thread. Practically every server has a 1.5/1 Alliance to horde ratio, or worse. I was on warcraft realms looking at server populations. It would appear that less then 10 servers have an even or higher horde then alliance. 10 out of over a hundred, with some servers having greater then 2-1 alliance to horde ratios. I guess they think all of that will be solved in the expansion with the blood elves. Or, maybe some of these nerfs are in anticipation of skills be introduced in the expansion, where it would scale unproportionately.. I don't know. It's just really frustrating from a horde perspective. |

| but horde ownz in pvp lolz! (see Frott and others in the windfury nerf thread) Blizzard just has no idea what they're doing, basically. They're just reacting and making decisions in a vacuum. There's no plan. |

+6 Internets | Well I can honestly say +healing is far from useless, but its also INCREDIBLY retarded. I'm not looking forward to getting level 70 spells because most likely they're just going to be BIGGER SLOWER heals, which have absolutely no place in this game, thanks to +healing. As to the topic of this thread, Blizzards overall strategy seems to make something worthless, than slowly bring it up to par. Look at bloodlust. Look at armor sets. So much stuff starts out ridiculously bad, but slowly gets brought up. Hopefully this is the darkest part of the night for the horde. Given Bliz's trackrecord they're following their course and are going to try to bring up the horde later (not saying this isn't retarded, just saying its what they normally do). Maybe shaman are getting bloodlust soon. Last edited by Dyscord : 07-17-2006 at 12:44 PM. |

| By the time Blizzard notices that Horde PvE is flat-out broken, most high-end Horde guilds will have quit or rerolled. Blizzard should have been fixing this shit months ago, not telling us 'Wait until after you buy TBC lol' |

This disproves my theory of them being reactive and not having a plan HOW exactly? | |

| Blizzard is digging a hole with all that "TBC is ultimate resolution". They set expectations far too high and when reality hits, a lot of people will quit and curse blizzard for promising them that ultimate resolution.

+6 Internets | I can only imagine what the real numbers look like. On Icecrown there is only one horde guild capable of doing anything past the twin Emperors. They still have attendance problems, even with a massive influx of horde from other failed horde guilds from other servers. And if horde are coming here, they're old servers must have been wastelands. The population imbalance is like Cancer. If you ignore it, it will go away, right? |
