Total BS. Adding 3% dmg to all feral/balance druid things would actually make them useful. 3 rogues with 3% to crit and damage is a massive increase in raid dps.

Why do people post this stupid stuff.

The enchanting change makes me think "..." to be honest. As if getting nexus crystals wasn't painful enough to where in most cases you had to drop a 300 skill profession, now you have to skill enchanting up to 225 too? I really can't see this being real with how many nexus crystals are required for things like tier 3 and the raid dropped enchants. There just aren't enough entering the game solely through real enchanters for it to be viable unless you set aside days to actively farm molten core just to get crystals for enchants.

Requiring that would be beyond retarded.

I hate things like this, because it reminds me of cool stuff they could do.

Hell, I'm not even talking about endgame shit or serious gameplay innovations, but actually fixing Reckoning and adding a decent LFG tool? Christ.

And I seriously almost spit water all over my monitor when I read the line about fixing the volume issues when you Alt-Tab out of the game.

What you don't like reading the internet then coming back to WoW only to find the god awful Ironforge music BLARING DEAFENINGLY in your ears?

Even though Naxx music is pretty good, I still can't play with music because of that shit.

The shit you people are citing as proof that they're fake it stupid. Obviously they fix bugs. And how much sooner would you like to hear about the tokenization of tier1/2? These aren't even official patch notes and 1.12 isn't coming out for like a month. Seems quite possible to me. One thing that scares the shit out of me:

Will absolutely destroy pre-60 pvp. Yea, big surprise. Alot of us are twinks. It's what makes pvp fun. Lawl I ambush you for 650 and you die in one hit. Force me out of the bracket and I won't even play anymore.

They aren't going to wake up one morning and say 'Hmm, let's completely change how we handle the vast majority of raid loot entering the game world despite the fact it's been in place for 2 fucking years and there is absolutely no warning, or even a reason to do so.' MC and BWL don't need anything like a token system, and even if they did this is the Blizzard that absolutely refuses to rock the boat anymore than it has to. Whoa there fellahs, consider my adrenaline pumping when you say I get to collect dust in order to pvp.

In short: these patch notes are faker than my sex life.

That might appear to be how that change appears to you, but I imagine Blizzard would have had that planned for several months now. I was kind of surprised they had that random drop anyway, after seeing how well tokenized Velious loot did.

Pretty sure they're real...really, there's only ever been one example of fake notes with any sort of credibility, and they were pretty obvious(the one that buffed druids), AFAIK.

There is some fruity stuff though.

Quote:
--Alternate Itemization

We have re-evaluated itemization for classes outside of their traditional roles in parties and raids. Previously, certain talent builds and playstyles were limited by their available itemization because it was not viable to add a great deal of drops that benefited only one segment of a certain class. In this patch, we have introduced many new items and new sets with stats and bonuses that cater towards alternate playstyles.
Um...if you've been doing instances since the latest item revamp you'll see there's plenty of DPS warrior/Paladin/feral/elemental gear around. What the fuck does this mean?

Quote:
The mechanics of rage generation has been re-evaluated to bring the scaling of Warriors from levels 1-60 and beyond more in line with that of the other classes. Previously, Warriors gained rage from dealing damage based on a formula that took into account damage dealt and character level. Warriors will now generate a flat amount of rage per hit based on a new formula that takes into account the type of weapon (two-handed, mainhand, or offhand) and character level. Warriors from 1-60 should see more reliable rage generation, while Warriors with endgame itemization will see their rage generation brought down to more manageable levels. We have deemed this change necessary to preserve game balance as we move towards the release of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade and the increased level cap that will arrive with it.
Woot, yet another unprovoked nerf of warriors. Hopefully everything becomes twice as hard to tank or something as suddenly a naked warrior with a worn dagger generates as much rage as your tank in full T3. Awesome.

Quote:
Disenchanting now requires Expert Enchanting for rare items, and Artisan Enchanting for items of epic quality or higher.
Not only silly, but what are you going to tell lowbie enchanters trying to disenchant shit from WC or SFK?

Quote:
Token systems have been implemented in Molten Core and Blackwing Lair. Tier 1 and Tier 2 Class Armor sets are now acquired like the Tier 3 sets are through turn-in quests. Bosses that previously dropped the armor have had their loot tables revised. In addition, new items that appeal to a greater variety of playstyles have been added to ALL raid instances as both quest rewards and drops!
The first part: Seems extremely drastic, but a good change. I'm surprised they even bothered.

The second part: The fuck? Does this mean even more feral gear?

Quote:
Meeting stones no longer automatically search for party members. Instead, joining a meeting stone for a dungeon now adds you to an interactive list (sorted by name, level, class, etc) of players looking for a group. Groups can be formed by contacting players through this interface. The meeting stone queues for all dungeons can now be accessed from any meeting stone in the world.
Yay!

Proof these patch notes are fake: They've remained up on this message board for more than an hour without a visit from The Black Hand.

Not just that, they seem to tie rage generated to mainhand, 2h and offhand along with level. No mention of speed. So weapons like Eskhandar's set will generate more rage than a Deathbringer pair. Yay for more retarded game mechanics a la Mortal Strike!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didnt a warrior in shittier armor generate more rage when he got hit then a pimped out warrior, by virtue of the fact he took more damage?

Yeah. The better your armor and gear the less damage you take so you generate less rage. Our tanks have to equip two handers a lot in MC and on onyxia (when we 7 man her LOLZ) just so they can actually generate some rage.
