Sounds fantastic for a PvE server, though ![]()

In the case of WoW I need to override some rules in order to plug my system: - The Honor System is discarded - No more points will be awarded for a PvP kill, exactly as it happened before the Honor System was patched in - The Honor System will be replaced with a new one where you can "spend" PvP points to buy: armor, weapons, crafting recipes, crafting resources, consumables, epic mounts, whatever. And even repairs, reagents and griffin flights. Get more PvP points = get more "currency" to buy this stuff. Pretty straightforward. This is the idea. In the shortest way possible I could manage to put it: - The contested zones have one conquerable "hotspot" each. The players can organize and go cap one, putting their guild flag on it. The hotspots don't have any NPCs defending them, just players. Once capped, all the kills taking place in the proximity of the hotspot will be worth PvP points. Encouraging the PvP action to move away from the PvE hubs (villages, towns, camp spots), so without disrupting the gameplay of those who don't want to bother. +1 Internets | It seems to me that the biggest issue will be population imbalance. Will one side nearly always hold it because it has a 2 or 3 to 1 ratio of players over the other faction...and are the rewards really worth going all out for this for non pvp people? The PvP folks will like an alternative between queues but if there is nothing but killing honor involved ... that buff will have to be so overpowered to the point of being rediculous to make anyone want to participate.

| Maybe if the (persistent through death) buff gives a 100% boost for all honor gained within the next hour, that way people would try to get that buff and then do the usual BGs/PVP. Alternatively it could give a nice amount of faction or a "factiongain pct boost buff". Doing PvP in zones with alot of potentially annoying mobs isnt exactly attractive too. |

| So make zones that you can pvp in as soon as you click on the dust? So on real PVP servers it's business as usual. If this buff isn't worth it no one on a PVP server will do this. Great for the PVE people I guess. |

Lets say Guild A takes a node and says bring it on. They need people to bring it on to get the PvP points. Opposing faction doesn't like Guild A, so they don't go fight Guild A to essentially give them points, they go elsewhere (or a BG if they're still around). They go to a different node where an enemy guild they like is, and they swap kills to get the points to buy stuff. Awesome.
