Cad the tard talking again when 60k honor a week gets you a standing good enough for Rank 13, do you really have to steamroll 16 hours a day? Really? I even linked you the fucking page, look at nephilim. Rank 10 and less than 5k HKs. Do you think that's a 16h/ day job? About the altar of storms server, did these guilds start pre-made on the server? I think their progress is rather ineteresting.. BTW, the progression thread already is 7th of April. THAT is already more than 90 days ago. and it was created by a level 60, so let's assume at least 2 weeks more. so your example is pretty nil (shittiest format for a prog thread ever btw) The prog thread of the server I linked is from May 2nd and from a level 38 (one of the highest levels there, lets say one week passed) BTW, That server has Generals TODAY, so a server that is 6 weeks older than that and doesn'T have Warlords fucking sucks at PVP Last edited by Quineloe; 07-19-2006 at 04:29 PM..

The progression thread was created on 07/04/06. That's July. It's not using the non-US dating mechanism. I started on the server a week after it came up. It's less then 90 days old. Not gonna flame ya since it was an honest mistake. The Alliance guild is from another server, less sure about the Horde one. I don't think they are. Both guilds had to recruit massively. As in, MT had a core of guys (the Alliance one), maybe 10-30, but they recruited what seemed like everyone and their mother at one point. Again, more sketchy on the Horde one, Hate Plow, but I think they did the same thing. Several NEW guilds on Alliance have already downed Rags and are on Vael as well. I think what it shows is when you have a core of 10-20 (same as a pvp group basically), you can easily outpace any PvP group in the acquisition of gear. PvE is easier to gear up in and you can gear more people up in it. Personally? I HATE how fast this server is moving. A friend on Blackwing Lair says the progression is a helluva lot slower there, so I think it's just that Altar of Storms has a lot more motivation. | http://worldofwarcraft.com/pvp/index...&faction=h#top they could have a rank 13 already. inactivity issues These guys have 5x as many HKs, I bet they could have one R14 by now Last edited by Quineloe; 07-19-2006 at 04:52 PM.. |

I know Qpon and Skullz have traded #1 back and forth several times. It takes a minimum of 13 weeks to hit HWL. 13 weeks > 90 days. Server is less then 90 days old. Just accept the fact that you gear up easier + quicker by PvE.

However....multiple guilds ARE doing it *AND* even if the guild doesn't nail Nef, multiple guilds are hitting ZG/MC/part of BWL and gearing up far more people then a 10 man pvp would, faster. PvP is the stupid way to gear up.

Sorry, PvE is much less time consuming to gear up than pvp, and a heck of a lot less frustrating.

| Too bad 3 out of 7 classes don't benefit from the majority of pve gear at all - at least not if you're concerned with progression. Warriors in Might/Wrath, Priests in Proph/Trans and Druids in Cenarion/whatevertheirstupidbwlsetis sure are a FEARSOME SIGHT ON THE BATTLEFIELD. PvP + raiding is definitely the way to go, this way you benefit from both, and when R11+ feels attainable you can just drop raiding for a while and push the volume of your time into PvP. As a warrior, rogue or shadowpriest - there really is no equivalent to getting R14 until well into AQ/Naxx. |
