| In that second video, the E3 one, it sounded like there was a whole bunch of people in the background getting really excited and cheering about a game which drowned out the sound on Vanguard. Which game was it? |

Maybe they do again if it happened some time lately, I stopped following the game closely.

| With Sigil in control of when they release, no, they technically don't have a "deadline" that they have to meet, but they've stated that their goal is to release in Winter 2006. They could delay the game until 2009 for all we know, but I'm just going by what they are estimating/shooting for as far as a release date, and Winter 2006 isn't that far away. |

+2 Internets | /shrug It wasn't that bad. A few choppy animations that might just be part of the vid capture process, that's about it. Lighting was nice. Be honest, without actually having your hands on the keyboard you can't really get any sort of serious feel for the activity of combat from those videos so it's pointless to bash. Playing a WoW warrior is great fun from a button-pushing/movement point of view but you wouldn't know it from vids of gameplay. Just basically looks like any regular MMO or SP adventure game, nothing to say it's the Devil nor that it will be like a 24/7 riding the Orgasmatron experience. |

+1 Internets | Nice combination they have going there. EQ2 graphics with WoW's UI, and early EQ's animations. If the combat were any slower, i'd have time to make a sandwich to go with my beer ![]()

At least they're honest about it. Now they need to take the animations from WoW.

| I think anyone who says Wow that looked boring is a retard. All MMOs are boring as fuck to watch, everyone I have played. If I wasn't playing I couldn't stand just sitting there watching. This is no different, so as whoever said before me really need to see how invovled the combat is with openers and bridges and shit.

| Those combat animations lacked fluidity. Thumbs down. Quote:

+19 Internets | Yeah, WoW's stock setup is actually one of the worst UI's. I'm guessing people will be able to make nicer UI's with Vanguard, but I'm doubting it will let you do the things WoW's does. Not sure if that will be a good or bad thing. |
