The Patch that cant Patch

So here we are, prime time for raiding and we get a nice big fat Patch to resolve an issue that only hurts a few ppl.

Oh but theres more.

The patch takes over 20mins to download.

The patch apparently can cause some ppl to be in the infamous patch deathloop because the patch says its looking for version 1.10 and not 1.11.

Add to that general login issues because of the download, and we have a big pissed off customer base.

Someone in the tech forums actually tried to call Blizzard Tech for support, and a Message responded that the team is in a Staff Meeting.

Oh what a day.

Small edit, so far its 30min+ on a 5mb cable connection

This just killed a ZG run I was in. I'm glad they are fixing the bug, I just wish it would've happened over maitenance instead

Disconnected when an hour long WSG was about to end in a win against some of the most faggot alliance on my server, and robbed of my reward for making them cry.

Wonder if my neighbors heard the yelling.

i'm still "downloading " it... been over 30 minutes myself,

i watched an episode of anime, and now just turned on the redsox mets game (on computer of course gogo tuner card)

After taking an actual complete unexaggerated HOUR to get this patch. I got this awesome error "This update does not need to be applied. It requires version 1.10.2.5302 of "WoW.exe", but you already have version 1.11.0.5428."

Fuck Blizzard for always failing at the most simple of things. Hello to you LFG system...

I downloaded it, but then got an error message. The tech support forums tell me I have to delete the wow-patch folder and start again. Here we go again...

I log off my alt to log on my main for a zg raid and get some butt-lovin by this patch that has no effect on my game experience at all

I believe it fixes a bug that was causing people's GPUs to lock up. I know with my Radeon since 1.11 I'd randomly get VPU recovery errors when the 3D engine froze every 30-40 minutes (interestingly enough, I would still be able to move the cursor around).
