| Quest hubs on a PVP server Are they supposed to be this way? Could they possibly be designed the way they are intentionally? The Cenarion Hold bit was entertaining, at least, because you could find safe spots from where you could actually defend yourself, but who was the gifted one that set up Light's Hope Chapel so that you could essentially just sit on the south hill and attack anyone in the town without them: 1) being able to heal themseves 2) being able to fight back at all I mean, I know this isn't the highest of brow industry: we're talking about an interactive cartoon here, but last time I checked a heal wasn't an aggressive action, and the guards are set up so that you can't possibly outheal their damage anyway. Let's kill the tom & jerry game dynamics here and set up some decent PVP rules already. It only took you a year to suck the clue cock and remove the guards from AV (taking it from a 3 hour retard fest into a 10 minute race to the endzone)... hey it wasn't "broken" it was just "really retarded," right? So yeah, take a hint and do some of that "user testing" I hear is all the rage in product development and find out that the guards, most of the time, kill people when they're trying to defend themselves. |

| yeah its pretty lame, first night of the patch i saw maybe 20-30 alliance sniping any horde who got near the AD quest guys. last night, i didnt notice anyone doing it.. i guess they got bored. im sure itll still go on just like people in CH would snipe horde landing at the flight path from the top of the nearest house. |

+14 Internets | Hm, mechanics difficulties. As far as mob hate goes, there is no difference between healing yourself and healing another person, but I don't know all the fine lines of how you tag yourself PvP and how a guard considers you to be hostile. Obviously heling a player who is engaged in hostile action should and does lump you in, but if you're not engaged in hostile action yourself? I'd love to know the specifics here to understand just why this is malfunctioning. Also: I assume that these people are impervious to guard attacks from their position? Otherwise I don't see how this is happening at all. Why not give the guards.....ranged attacks if so?? Not that it would solve self-healing but it would stop the bullshit. Here's a fun one: |

+6 Internets | People on pvp servers have only been complaining about this since, oh, fucking launch. No, really, take your time as you never fix this. It's endearing more than anything else.

+6 Internets | Wow, they fixed Gadgetzan guards? Can I heal myself when getting beaten on now or am I only signing my own death warrent once the fucker vanishes/feign deaths. Christ, you'd figure if they're going to take the laziest route possible for quest hubs and make only one for both factions they'd put extra thought into making them not exploitable shit holes on pvp servers. I was hanging around in CH on my shaman and wound up with 2 durability deaths because of hunters sitting ontop of a log that the guards couldn't path to and feigning death if I healed anyone at all. Fuck that.

| I know heals proved to be quite a problem in some other games where people would PvP and a healer would stand nearby healing and not getting PvP flagged so you couldn't gank them without penalty (Lineage2 I think was one place) Plus I've seen in a level restricted PvP where the heals weren't flagging PvP and a high level would keep lower levels going artificially. Flagging all heals as PvP irregardless is unfortunantly the fix. Fear should clear out any aggression flagging, as should any CC actions They could easily fix that problem by posting a buncha guards on that hill with a long aggro range...
