| Engineering 205 to get into FoH? Just curious why 205. I looked on Thott and didn't see anything really good at that level, and the resist trinkets and such are all 300 Engineering, so why recruit at 205 engineering as a minimum?

| Do you plan on keeping your skill at 205 once you reach that? I think not.

+3 Internets | There was an incarnation of Viscidus that healed to full every time he reformed - literally the only way to kill him was to do one mass AE fest with sapper charges in the center of the room and pray to the lag gods. Engineering is just generally useful though.

+15 Internets | But it gets less useful as time goes on. Especially gnomish engineering. The only truely useful thing from gnomish is the Gadgetzan port, which lets you get to AQ/Ony faster.

+31 Internets | I guess if you're retarded. Engineering is *instant damage* on a scale much greater than any other profession. You need one alchemist, you need one blacksmith, you need one leatherworker, etc, etc, no one is arguing that. It's just that you get diminishing returns from those professions when you start stacking characters with them. Engineering, however, has dozens of instant damage items that do not detract in any way from each other or from the character. What makes more sense, then, a guild full of leatherworkers and alchemists that have their professions add jack shit to raids, or a guild full of engineers that can bust out 18k-30k damage when needed to? HMMM.

+15 Internets | Instant? All nades have cast timers and 1m reuse now. There are hardly "dozens". Sapper is the only instant that comes to mind, unless you count the pets or activated mines that function.

+1 Internets | Let me put it this way... if you're in a guild that allready has masters of the other professions, and you're not engineering, you're losing out. ESPECIALLY if you are a hunter or rogue |
