| http://www.curse-gaming.com/en/wow/a...s-lfg-mod.html Monitors & Filters the LFG channel, I've found it quite useful to just turn off the channel, but stay in it & let CTA summarize the LFG/LFM's for me. |

| what broke me were the people insisting everyone come to help defend SW from the "undead raid" going on "outside". Chuck Norris was bareable. That made me want to stab myself in the eye. |

+18 Internets | I like it on my new server. The spammage sucks and some should be banned, but joining it just when LFG or when I *might* want a group is nice. Then again, I was horribly scarred by Jeuno and FFXI LFG. |

+1 Internets | The LFG tool is the one game mechanic I think where EQ > WoW (never played CoH). That's saying something heh. The global channel is miles ahead of the meeting stone (which I did get one group through, but it broke up in 5 minutes before we even met up) you just have to put it in its own tabbed window and not look at it unless your LFG. I'm all for progress but can we just get the LFG tool already.

| I guess we can all agree that a fully functional /lfg system would be the kittens meow here, but this change with /lfg being a global channel probably took 5 minutes of coding and testing. Coming from a software company myself, flipping a bit on a channel and making a change like that which requires almost zero resources is a quick win. It's not the final product but it tosses something out there Since day one I've always split apart the 'useless' channels into their own window, nested under the main chat window. This way I wouldn't miss anything but could easily hit my 'LFG' tab and see whats been going on. Having a setup like this completely concealed the global /lfg change, I had to actually go to that tab to see it take place. But it's a step, better than having /lfg's tied to cities. That shit was gay. Nothing sucked more than sitting inside an instance and having to jump through tell-hell-loops to find replacements. ... Bonzai |
