Is that sand a little itchy? While it can be annoying when used for effect, most of the time racial jokes are very funny situationally. If you haven't learned to tell when a person is seriously hateful and when they are fucking around then step away from the computer and develope your social skills a bit.

OOC was more civil in EQ because about 2 weeks prior to the launch of Kunark, pretty much everyone was in some form of guild and nobody used ooc anymore. In fact, between Mar 31, 2000 and today...

90% of EQ ooc = Requests for Clarity, C2, KEI, Aegolism, Virtue and other assorted buffs.
7% of EQ ooc = Cybersex mistells
2% of EQ ooc = Requests for ports from EC to Nektulos
1% of EQ ooc = Conversations between a 14 year old with access to his alcoholic mothers credit card who says "Nigger" in ooc and a 24 year old pretentious dick who wishes they had adult only severs...which goes well until he mistells some cybersex between him and the 47 year old insurance salesmen he thinks is a 16 year old girl from Florida.

Not sure about everyone else but I haven't seen any cybersex mistells in WoW (unless I'm completely misinterpreting the whole fagcock jewfucker). They used to crop up every so often in EQ to much hilarity. I wonder why this is so? Maybe the average WoW player can't form these types of relationships? They certainly have the vocabulary for it.

cybersex mistells were great, but then it caught on and was used way to much and just wasnt funny anymore. And I played on Stormhammer for alittle bit and did notice that there wasnt any dumb little fucks running around spamming shit because their mom would dish out the extra cash, is stormhammer even around anymore? I had a 55 Bard on that server and meant to move him back to quellious but always forgot to.

You could have had the great community for a regular subscription on Test. Also, you get the added bonus of constant bugs, server crashes, and extended downtime! Just think of all the fun you missed out on.

What I do find funny about these "EQ had great community" threads is that most of the population of Test played there because they hated the childish, selfish attitudes that was rampant on Live servers.
