It's not about being uptight. It's about maturity, common sense, and logic. Insulting people is fine, joking around is fine, calling people stupid fucks is fine.

But when I'm beating somebody at any game, all I hear is "Fag, Newb, Noob, Nub, Faggot, nigger, Beaner" etc etc. First of all, if I am beating them, how does that make me a newb? The word has become a general insult, and it's probably the most retarded craze since Roller Skates. Same thing with "fag", some how I am automatically a homosexual since I am beating them at a video game, or I have a darker skin tone. It pretty much makes me believe they do fail at everything IRL, to get so angry over a game. They are "nerds" that are supposed to be smart and good at video games, but they lose at both, and at real life. So they take out on people online, calling everybody homosexuals and new players to the game.

It's quite hilarious really.

So kids, let's stick to the classics, "Stupid fuck", "Dumb fuck", "Shit head", "Fucktard" and any other derivitive of "fuck". Because "newb, nigger, jew, spick, beaner, faggot" all have no logic and just make your dumb pimple face look stupid.

Personally my beliefs don't support homosexual relationships, however, I'm not about to run around calling everybody I see a faggot. To me the word just screams immaturity now. And I know if you talk to just about any gay person they will tell you they are pretty annoyed by the fact that the most common insult used around the world now is a definition of their sexual preference. Whether or whether not the person saying it has anything against it.

What are you, 12? I think everyone here realizes that calling someone "gay" these days does not imply that that individual is a homosexual. You don't need to explain your incredibly unique viewpoint.

Meanings of words change. To a lot of the people slinging "fag" and "nigger" around, it has little to do with anyone's sexual orientation or ethnic origin. Fag can be synonymous with douchebag as far as I'm concerned.

But, I understand that a lot of people don't feel this way. Some people's politically correct ears bleed when they hear these terrible words. As much as I think that they simply don't get it, I have to respect the fact that they don't get it and that it does insult them. As general practice, I'll never use these words around people I'm not sure are comfortable with them.

When I'm talking to people I'm comfortable with, you're damned right I'll call them faggots and niggers. Oh, we're just using those words because we're trying to be cool and we heard it on Dave Chapelle. Well guess what: a lot of the words you use you're only using because they're popular in your day; it's essentially how language evolves.

These words do have a dark history, and that does necessarily carry some weight. In all honesty, I believe that if everyone became comfortable with "fags" and "niggers," that'd be a great step in the right direction. If you make a specific point about ignoring racism and sexual biggotry, you're making a specific point about it being a big deal. That, ultimately, breeds more biggotry. If, however, everyone would stop giving a shit, people would consequently stop giving a shit about who a guy fucks or the color of someone's skin.

I should add a bit of a caveat though: there's a lot of kids out there who feed off of someone's disgust of their clever wordplay (e.g. niggerfag) and generally like being a nuisance. That anonymity + audience = fuckwad thing is incredibly accurate for just about anyone in their teens. But make no mistake, if these idiots weren't slinging fags and niggers, they'd be saying something else equally insulting to the PC police.

That being said ~ I could care less that no one else says k-rad or whatever else it is, if its in my vocab, and its something myself and my friends respond to its going to be said ~ so stop being gay.

If they banned every person who said a racial slur in game wow would be down to 5 full servers. Hell you couldn't get into the guild i was in without first agreeing you wouldn't be offended by racial slurs and bad mouthing from other members. And when they joined vent we made sure to say the word nigger and call people jews every other sentence. Even our resident black member always laughed at it.
