As the season comes to a close, the point of this thread still does not make itself clear?

Here's a better question, because this thread is kinda retarded:

If you could do every end game raid zone per instance reset save for one, which one would you exclude and why?

Maybe like the dates and guilds that killed certain bosses first?

I haven't seen a replacement for warriors for conqueror stuff... not much dps armor other than those gauntlets and belt? if I recall correctly...

I'd feel less terrible about doing this instance ever again if they took out all the trash after Huhuran and doubled the gold every boss dropped.

Razorgore dropping more gold than C'Thun just pisses me off, especially after dying 5 times to the mindslayer packs, etcetera.

I think the usefulness of this zone will lie in whether or not the leadership of the various guilds who are doing it find the rewards worth the effort. I mean, even in EQ a lot of old zones remained used by guilds up until a certain point and there's a difference between having a zone on farm status and having a zone on learn status. Initially you'll probably see guilds sticking with AQ but once they get... say about two wings on farm status I think you'll see a significant drop in AQ clearings until Naxx is completely on Farm status.

The difference is that by in large previously, the previous zone still gives decent upgrades which helps progression significantly.

This is definitely not true for AQ40 due to the extremely wierd itemization -- no doubt there are some upgrades, but by in large most of it are extremely off-spec and/or wierd items (feral druid loot, oracle set, striker's, etc).

I don't think anyone will argue that you should clear AQ40 a couple times so that you learn strategically what there is to learn, but without clear gear progression (and honestly by in large in AQ40 there is not), there doesn't seem to be much if any reason to actually go there. Why farm a place when you're going to disenchant 80% of the drops?

Better question would be: Will guilds who havent killed Visc or Ouro give a fuck now?

Although I've heard rumors Ouro is involved with the Bran Bronzebeard aspect of the caster legendary.

It certainly doesn't help that they put the items that no one wants as the common shit on mobs loot tables in AQ.

I can't tell you how many shitty paladin legs/gloves, feral druid loots, an ungodly amount of badges of the buggedgaurd, etc we've DE'd. All the while the... you know.. the stuff that people want off C'thun is less than a 5% drop rate. huzzah for making a zone worthwhile.

How about, which guilds are going to be dumb enough to tackle Naxx tonight/for the first week it's out.

Do you remember when BWL came out people? I know on my server at least it was a total clusterfuck of complete idiocy. We had EVERY FUCKING GUILD on the damn server, both Horde and Alliance, some of which who couldn't even kill Domo trying their damndest to make a mark in BWL. I found it very easy to learn and win encounters with, you know 1500 latency.

Maybe it's not so bad on other servers, but then again we do have more of the stubborn fucks i've seen yet. We'll be avoiding Naxx like the plague for the first few weeks until all the retards out there realize they don't stand a fucking snowballs chance in hell of killing anything in there.

I hope they get the hint alot sooner than last time tho...

Of course people will bother with AQ40 again, but I highly doubt anyone will do it until they absolutely need a break from working on Naxx(or until it's pretty much all farm mode). There's still some fairly high quality stuff from Ouro and C'Thun - Viscidus too really with that ring being moved to him. Ouro's loot table is being expanded(aka fixed to drop what it should have all along) next patch too.
