Naxx

So its been on PTR for a bit, what are your thoughts on it? I personally haven't been there myself. A guildie of mine said the trash up to first boss is easy but first boss is much harder. Any guilds actually get in there and get killing? What do you think of the difficultly, design of the encounter, and amount of time it takes to get to each named? Not asking for any spoilers here just curious on your general thoughts if you've done it.

No need to comment about the loot though as we've seen tons of it already and it is definately good.

I hope naxxramas isn't yet another raid instance you master by mastering trash clearing speed

Ive only done the spider wing. The mini spider pack pulls are a bitch until you can keep your AEers alive long enough ;p The larger packs arent too bad as long as you take down the poison spitter first, then the other stuff. The first boss will hardcore rape you, though, on your first attempts. He's basically the cryptlord hero from TFT, and he has the same abilities (spawn beetles from corpses, impale, insect swarm). He's a fight where deaths at the wrong time will majorly own your raid.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the zone. There are obviously some bugs but I'm sure they'll get most of them worked out. I'm interested in getting to the point where they don't reset the instance daily and let us try deeper encounters. The 4 death knight encounter looks fun, only got to try that once as it was deemed not working as intended by a dev.

On another note, I'm thrilled the devs are taking such an active role in checking in on testers to get feedback and examine bugs as they occur.

Thumbs up to Tigole, Furor, and the rest of the crew out there burning the midnight oil.

They need to scrap the pre-made characters, there is no point to them at all. Anyone that is going ot be seriously testing Naxx or any other high end content, is going to have the gear to do it already, and won't require this pre-made bs.

BG times on that server are intstant, because the majoirty of people are logging in and heading there to pwn some newbs, only to find out it's not so much pwning when everyone has gear equal to you....

All the while the content put up on test to be tested is being ignored. The people that want to test it can't,cause they are sitting in 3K+ queues It's fucking retarded.

The pre-mades and real characters are on separate servers now, supposedly.

My pve character is on the same server as all the pre-mades or was yesterday at least, My pvp characters are on a spereate server with no pre-mades, but that has always been the case. It's fine if your in a guild that is on a PVP server, you can test np, Though trying to get much done in EPL as far as those new quests are concenred is a crap shoot. The guards I am sure will be fine on live servers with far less people, but they are wholly useless on the pvp test realm.

Ret of Arthas (PvP server) downed the first boss in the spider wing yesterday(Anub?). My friend(I was at his house) said it was pretty hard, but estimated it at about Huhu level.

Also, appears the other wings get bugged very easily. A mob will bug out(evade bug), but doesn't reset, and then you pull the next mob, he resets back, and you end up with a double pull(death).

From what I saw watching him, the AOE spider fest after Anub looks pretty fucking boring, and if you wipe on the way to the next boss, the trash respawns, which is lame as hell. Trash mobs = worthless.

I copied 2 characters, one 5/27, one 5/28, both went to Test (PVE), along with the 5k queue and general populace of idiots. I dont see how you can transfer to Test (RPPVP), but there are 60's there.

I loved the plague wing... but that was only because of free repairs.
