Yeah, I'm a bit surprised the amount was so low. Might be a local thing, and doesn't have the full support of Sony behind it /shrug Dunno

$10K is a fair amount. I'm not one to judge how much one donates or to what charity, even a company. If I was, I might be asking why WoW isn't donating $240,000 ($10k/250k subs scales to $240k for 6MM subs). Regardless, I'm sure the ALS folks will appreciate every penny, and SoE/EQ2 should get much than $10k's worth of publicity.

Sony as an overall corporation donates millions every year to charity. Who cares if one particular cheque wasn't massive.
