+4 Internets | If only, if ONLY there were finally a MMO with limb-based combat... That would be really great, if his weakness was the ankle. Strike left foot, ftw. Hmm...a thought just occured to me..didn't Vanguard originally promise to have limb-based combat? I dont remember, but I think I read that somewhere. |

| Wow. This is an interesting promotion. But why baseball? I've always perceived MMoRPG's, and EQ in particular, as the type of game which would attract wrist-slitting FallOut Boy fans and not hardcore jocks? Channel marketing -1. What? Are they looking for the interested jock participator? Lol. Hey Curt, see you soon. /thumbs

+3 Internets | Baseball isn't a "jock" sport, really. It's the "American past-time", so anyone can get behind their team and be interested in the game. Yes, there are aspects that would appeal to those that crank one out to their favorite player's statistics, but sports like (American) football and basketball are more "jockish" than baseball. I think they should put Clemens in the game next, make him appear and sound awesome, but in reality make him a fucking waste. Just like in real life. |

| It's not so much why baseball, just that Curt Schilling is an avid supporter of Everquest and Everquest 2. He loves the games, has written pc gamer reviews, and has not been ashamed since early on to say he has played them. This is just a fun gimick promotion for Sony to branch out to more people while for Curt Schilling he gets to help a charity and be apart of the game. Sounds like win win. |
