I agree also, its the reason why I canceled my account. I got tired of rubber banding all over the place and not being able to zone and I said screw it and played something else.

| Before the game went to launch I had signed up to be an in game helper and was excepted. I was a part of the first team of helpers that was to support the game. During my training we had our own zone(I forget what it was called) and the devs would test all kinds of creatures in there. During this time of beta there was not really any stability issues with the game itself. It was smooth and it was fun. There where some geographic issues with some areas you could get into and not get out of but for the most part it was stable and it looked like it was going to be alot of fun to support and play. Then came the open stress test... The server tanked and the game became a pile of shit. I knew launch was going to be a complete bust and walked away on launch day. I never logged back in. I never got to play the game for what it was supposed to be. The game never became what it was supposed to be. Biggest let down ever. /mourn Akacat |

The law of unintended mudflation consequences and all really fucked up AO. That and the server lag at any large scale tower war really sucked.

| Have to agree that AO between Notum and Shadowlands was lots of fun. Shadowlands and the whole fudging of a fantasy MMO onto a Sci-Fi one killed it for me (let alone the stupdity of hecklers). WRU Sci-Fi MMO (and yes I have played Eve). |

| The FPS elements in Tabula Rasa put me off. Neocron and the lack of popularity of Planetside have proven that this kind of thing doesn't really have mass appeal. I will give it a try though and hope to be pleasantly surprised. Stargate is just an IP I dont like ![]() Ok, ok .. I am just too picky but think of the fantastic IP's that are out there that could be used or hell, how about something new and original zomgz. I was so disappointed when Mythic tossed in the towel on Imperator to just go for WoW-lite (the Warhammer MMO). |

The obvious problems, like sneak base capping, (Though they did fix this I heard) no real rewards, and the retarded COF were eventually put-offs for me. Also if they charged just 5 bucks initially... If they made a BF2ish MMORPG...where you could upgrade your character like any other MMORPG, where skill actually mattered. Tangible rewards after defeated encounters. Encounters where dropships, tanks, planes foot soilders etc etc, were all part of the equation. I would so play that.
