Without artifical caps and cockblocks? I would say a solid guild with experience hardcore EQ players could burn all the content and open the server to Omens of War content in under 12 months.

History already proved this. Conquest came back to EQ in Velious armor and in under 3 months was killing Quarm in Time. They completely skipped Luclin armor and zones and entered Elementals with ST/NToV/Tier 1-3 POP gear, not VT gear like nearly all the rest of us.

So yeah, a well skilled,hardcore guild that knows EQ for he last 7 years can rip through this progression server in no time flat.

Except you can't do that. You do need to "finish" Luclin first.

(I assume they require you to kill Seru & Aten Ha Ra, at the very least)

True. But the point I was conveying was that with alot of skill and game knowledge a top guild could take large jumps ahead on the progression server and open content in minimal gear from expansion to expansions just to be "we did it first". And we all know there will be at least 1 or 2 guilds on this server that will have that goal.
