Upgrading the pvp sets is really gay, fuck this. So I work every day to raid and gear up my guild and now that the pvp sets get a little behind raiding gear (how it should be imo) they upgrade them without increasing the difficulty one bit. All the while zones like AQ are a good part more difficult than the previous zone for only a mediocre upgrade off the final bosses.

Edit: I realize the warrior set really wasnt upgraded but I think that's because Blizz is trying to nerf you again =(

I tried to warn them, but did they listen? nooo. I think having confirmation that blizzard won't upgrade PVP rewards retro-actively will diminish the competition to R14 though.

Apparently the mage ZG set was upgraded to epic by adding spirit. Thats the word on the mage forums anyway - plus the ZHC was nerfed to 200 damage instead of 280, -25 instead of -35.

I knew the revised talent review was too much of a clear-cut buff to be true. "Hi there, have some +hit and some -threat, enjoy your trinket nerfs".

Hopefully the "big pvp changes" incoming in 1.12 also include a linear (even if long) pvp system so everyone can rank up at their own pace.

getting rank 14 is more pita than tagging along on raids and getting one of thousands of epic drops. they should get updated.

it would be appropriate to make those who already had the stuff do a quest or something to get the upgrades. it shouldn't be anything like grinding rank 14. shouldn't take more than a week playing casual to finish.
