Or the stupidity that is saying "Well, 40 man raids = x amt of hours learning the encounters against one guy going for HWL is x hours" when the 40 man raid is gearing everyone. The fair comparison would be getting forty people High Warlord....but they don't do that comparison .

The whole thing is retarded. Both should have forms of progression because it is a mass marketed game. Both sides trying to one up the other is counterproductive.

I'm sure they just forgot to put the alliance warrior legs in the screencap. If alliance warriors really are stuck with the paladin legs, I'll be saddened but not surprised. Personally, I was wondering if the item budget formula really produced both the rogue and the druid legs. I'm not not real familiar with the exact formula but, uh, looks like the druid legs have a shit load more stats to me, even down to having more armor.

Sure they're easy now. However, after Vael and Razor you still have some fun fights like Chromaggus and Nefarian. With the addition of AQ40 there are some more interesting and complex fights to experience, as well. In PvP it's the same thing over and over and over. It seems to me that it's more boring than farming shit.

I agree. I think the two biggest issues are the current PvP ranking system (it's way-the-fuck too time-dependent) and the lack of any new PvP content in forever. It's like listening to 3 songs you really like for hours on-end. Sure, it's cool at first and you enjoy it, but after hearing all 3 songs 5000 times you look for something new to enjoy.

It's nothing new on this board. Some who mainly pve have been bitching about pvp having any rewards at all since day one. First they bitch about any rewards coming from pvp and then they follow it up with something like, "they should never under any circumstance come close to any pve rewards". It doesn't matter what they do with the pvp system. These types of players will always bitch about anything pvp gets.

It could be mostly players that came from EQ1, but I'm not sure. In their minds pve and raiding is just more important. They want to believe they are more important so the last thing they want is someone who doesn't raid to get anything near raiding quality loot.

I guess you just have to ignore them here and the same types on the WoW boards. Luckily Bliz is smart and kind enough to reward pvpers with good loot. They just need to improve the pvp system which is what 1.12 will do I suppose.

Someone please explain this to me. Does this mean that respecs will eventually cost 10g for everyone or does it mean that if I don't respec for *8 FUCKING MONTHS* I will be able to build back up to 50 starting at 10gold.

I mean, for fuck sake, I don't understand who this is going to benefit. Who respecs monthly? Oh, HEHE, THIS MONTH IS PVP MONTH! LOL

Good question. I hope they decay by 5 gold each month, in addition to the increased cost if you respeced that month. Like, if you were at 50 gold, it'd go down to 45 gold. If you respecced once within that month, it'd be 50 gold again, but would go down 5 again at the end of the month. If you have to wait an entire month without respeccing for it to go down, it's practically useless.

Well, for someone who likes to have an ideal PVP spec and then an ideal PVE spec I could easily respec daily.

So, I really don't see how this benefits anyone or anything. 8 months of not speccing to save 40g the next time is pretty fucking obnoxious.
